Product Details

The sound quality of the UP75 range of TVs allows you to be completely immersed into the action with the use of LGs innovative Ultra Sound Technology. Whether it is the latest series you have been waiting watch or the big game you will enjoy the atmosphere as much as being in the action itself.

With LG Filmmaker Mode you can watch films with increased HDR and contrast levels. This all means even the darkest of scenes can look crisp and clear.

With the use of the easy-to-use WebOS operating system you can access Netflix Amazon Video and Disney + to name a few with just a couple of button clicks. This all leaves a world of entertainment at the tip of your fingertips.

If you have a Google Assistant or Alexa device in the house you can link this up to the 50UP75006LF to take control of it with just the power of your voice thanks to its compatibility to these devices..

Probably. The magic remote costs about £50.

Wouldnt be without the magic remote… imo well worth the price difference - especially selecting items on certain apps - i.e vpn apps sideloaded… and easier with kids selecting their youtube

How long is the guarantee. I am also suspect about buying anything expensive off eBay.

Oddly enough, yesterday I watched a load of YT videos on the 7500, 7700 and the 8100. I noticed in the comments of several videos people saying they were glad that they went for the models with the magic remote.

You can turn off the annoying pointer function on the Magic Remote anyway and use it more traditionally.

I thought I would hate the magic remote on LG BX then C1 ( of which I now have two 55”models ) but actually love it- go to bed where I have Samsung QLED with metal smart remote ( a curry’s special) and find myself waving that aimlessly at the set as so used to magic remote downstairs !

I would never get a LG TV (don’t know about OLED) again. The banding on my TV is unbearable.

What, where it pretends its a computer mouse and shoots all over the screen?! Just press any directional button, cancels it.

That's typical on all TVs below a certain price and not due to the manufacturer. When you buy up the range the panel uniformity is virtually always better.

I bought it for £700 back in 2017. I bought a Philips to replace the Samsung last year and it’s miles ahead of the LG.

Panel uniformity has also been getting better over time. Maybe your Philips has a direct lit LED backlight and the LG was edge lit LED backlight (which sometimes creates worse uniformity especially at lower end models). Not all LG TVs suffer from this, and not all Philips TVs are free of it.

Generally the higher up the range you go the better uniformity is guaranteed!

That's a great price. We have the Magic Remote on our LG and it does make using all the smart features so much easier.
