Info added by pirate1

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is the sequel to 2019’s blockbuster Modern Warfare. Featuring the return of the iconic, team leader Captain John Price, the fearless John "Soap" MacTavish, the seasoned Sergeant Kyle "Gaz” Garrick, and the lone wolf himself, fan favourite Simon “Ghost” Riley, players will witness what makes Task Force 141 the legendary squad it is today.

From small-scale, high-stakes infiltration tactics to highly classified missions, players will need to leverage new weapons, vehicles, and cutting-edge equipment to take on their enemies. Gear up and take the fight offshore as you siege enemies underwater, breach a highly fortified enemy base, infil along the canals, and liberate much-needed allies at a black site hidden within the mountains.

Infinity Ward will immerse fans in heart-pounding next-gen, state-of-the-art gameplay. Fight alongside friends in a truly immersive experience with stunningly realistic sound, lighting, and graphics that produce the most advanced Call of Duty in history. Modern Warfare II will feature a rebuilt, advanced AI system, enhanced rendering and photogrammetry technology, a new Gunsmith system, allowing for more customization than ever before, and a suite of other gameplay and graphical innovations that elevate the franchise to new heights. The future of the franchise is filled with trail blazing innovations and sets the foundation for next-generation gameplay.

Modern Warfare II will feature a massive amount of content from day 1 – squad up and fight alongside TF141 in a globe-trotting single-player campaign, play lone-gun or rally with your team in immersive multiplayer combat, complete with new locales and ways to play, and experience an evolved, narrative-driven Special Ops game mode featuring tactical co-op gameplay.

Additionally, Modern Warfare II connects with the new Warzone experience releasing this year, and with it, the evolution in Battle Royale with a brand-new play space and sandbox mode. Expect a massive calendar of free content post-launch featuring evolving gameplay with new maps, modes, seasonal events, community celebrations and more.

Stay Frosty.

I bought this same version off CDKeys and only received the Xbox Series X|S version of the game and no Xbox One Version, which is fine as the Xbox Series X is my primary console. But I still have a Xbox One S in the other room that I also use and I can't find the Xbox One version of the game to use in my games and apps for when I have to use the Xbox One S
I have had no problem getting this on 3 of our consoles at home, an original xbox, a One S and a Series X …?

I bit at this price on Friday night … code comes through via email link that was redeemed with no problems. Never had a problem with CD Keys over several years.

The only downside is that you cannot turn off crossplay … some well dodgy players when you look at kill cam (which I do often 🤪)

I am particularly enjoying the new free mode DMZ …
There is an option to turn off cross play

It a a decent game but awesome 2.0 is so good nowadays you could give this a kiss a not notice it. DMZ is brilliant.
Warzone 2.0 is great compared to the mess that was Caldera.

Thank god resurgence is back soon, still miss rebirth island which was a great map! Hope that makes a re-appearance.

I was hoping this will come on game pass after the merger but it seems even if the merger goes ahead Sony have an agreement to stop it going on game pass.
Same, not sure that we will see this on Game Pass anytime soon, but I had a few quid stashed and grabbed it

Decent price, imo its in the worst state CoD has been for years but they are losing players and scrambling to get a patch out so hope it will improve 🤞🤞
Is it? Warzone 1 was absolutely awful in the early days. Plus every time they fixed something in an update they broke something else.

DMZ is awesome, apart from pc cheats and crashes/bugs. My team and I got 30 operator/player kills in 3 games yesterday, lol - alot were exfil camper idiots, cant stand them with their zero skill. We let people join but a lot of rubbish pathetic no skill players are using this to get rivised, join up and jump back to either their old squad or another squad and kill the players that just killed/revived them. Total losers, i killed one muppet twice and then he had the cheek to request a revive again, no chance (edited)

Hasn't it been this price for a while?

I buy COD every year (most paid £37.99 I think) but have to say I haven't missed this year so far. Having a COD break has been quite nice. That said, if it hits a nice price point I'd pick it up for shipment. I haven't played a campaign since the first Black Ops I think!
I paid £42 for a sealed disc copy on eBay this month, bite the incoming bullet and get in there. There's enough new stuff to make it with it.

Where’s the deal? You can get a new copy on eBay for around £40 & then have the physical copy to sell once you’re done
For some digital is worth price for game sharing , xbox series s and save on physical space

Oh and on convenience of just click and play no need to change disc. Esp good if one using one console as a remote play server (edited)
