About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Firstly game works online no probs. I've been playing online for months.
I recommend having a mobile banking app (i.e revolut, Starling) so that you can just add the currency needed. or you can use paypal.
Download FREE vpn UrbanVpn via urban-vpn.com/
and install it.
Right click the tray icon once installed and select Europe > Ukraine > Connect
Let to connect.(Popup should display to confirm)
Navigate using your internet browser to battle.net and then click Games > Call of Duty Modern Warfare. You should now see the page below
It will display the prices in RUB which is Russian Ruble. BUY NOW
DO NOT USE YOUR blizzard account (if you have one) Just register a new account and it will assume you are in Ukraine.
Standard Edition is £16. As per currency conversation.
Us in the UK are getting ripped off as the same website wants £37.99
Be prepared to wait an eternity for the download and install.
PS. Dont forget to uninstall UrbanVPN.

Then start up the game and it will pick up your UK account status from there.
You don't start from New!
I then logged onto Activision account, and unlinked my old blizzard account using Firefox (which auto logs in as it knows my blizzard password).
I then switched to chrome and logged into the same account and then linked it to my NEW blizzard account. As I was logged into my new profile already on chrome, I never had to sign in.
If i had done that on Firefox, I think I would have relinked my old account and needed to raise a support ticket.
Anyway booted up battle net UI and logged off old blizzard account and signed back in using new Blizzard account, and it started auto download a further 85GB of game data.
Thought I would thank the OP and give my success story on the last day of the sale.
1) Unlink blizzard account from Activison site
2) Buy the game as mentioned
3) Download game (again? I had warzone but did 80+ download again )
4) Press play and select skip Activision and you will login with your Activision account when the game loads
BTW is the whole game like 163gb or has it been downloaded twice on mine?
Anyone interested in playing together? Teaming up online seems to put you in with a ton of whiny kids.
And FYI for anyone that really wants to purchase CP, you do save a few GBP.
(edited)
(Worked for me, hope its handy but guarantee nothing!)
Starting out: I played warzone free and wanted to keep my unlocks etc, and didn't mind losing my accumulated free 200 cp (MAKE SURE YOU DONT MIND LOSING CURRENT CP AND THAT YOU DONT MIND HAVING A NEW BLIZZARD ACCOUNT - might be annoying for anyone with other games on the launcher)
You'll need a vpn service with ukraine - important it needs to be a good one (i tried with all browser extensions which didnt work). I used windscribe which has free mode with the day of free premium (easy to get). You'll also need revolut and ID like driving license to activate revolut account.
Step by step:
- Connect to windscribe ukraine vpn
- Go to blizzard website (in a freshly cleared cache browser) and create new account (i actually did this off vpn and just set my country to ukraine still worked fine)
- Set up Revolut (mobile app): activate with ID and put however much you need into the account to buy (depending on your conversion to the RUB price). I put £18, couple pound extra. Convert all to RUB. Set up a virtual payment card.
- Add payment card to your new blizzard account (you could probably just put in card details during purchase but this worked for me)
- Go to purchase your desired cod on the ukraine site and your payment method will be the card you added, just fill in the date of expiry etc when asked
- Purchase should go through fine now (I had trouble here until I used windscribe)
- Now go to activsion website and log into your activision account (not your blizzard account)
# Be careful here as it may be easy to accidently link the wrong account
- Unlink your activision account from your old blizzard account
# I was careful and used a freshly cleared different browser next
- Log into your new blizzard account (ukraine one with purchased cod) on the blizzard website (fresh browser)
- Log into your activision account on the activision website (same fresh browser, new tab)
- Click link to blizzard account on the activision website and it should auto link to your ukraine account since you have it logged in. This is where people have accidently relinked to their old blizzard due to being saved or logged on
- Launch battlenet and log into your new blizzard account
Youll see it download additional ~85gb if you already have warzone and the game will be cod now not cod warzone.
# Important: when launching after download do NOT make a new activision account - it will ask so just skip for now. It will then auto detect the activision account linked (will have the same email for your activision log in) and link it.
Now you have full game and your previous warzone unlocks intact huzzah. Without having to give bloody blizzard anything huzzah zah.
Worked like a treat thanks alot! for anyone wonderign you keep all your stats through activision. i started playing xbox, played warzone on PC and now all stats are synced between accounts just bare in mind cod points are exclusive to the platform, mine from PC Warzone didnt transfer over
I just completed mine and I think I'm the same as you. Didn't read the comments at all really. I used PayPal connected to a Starling account. I kept the VPN (Nord) active whilst completing transaction via PayPal and it all worked no bother.
Actually the full game is 160, the Warzone is 80 gb. So youll have to download the full game.
Ok guys well it should work...but I've just messed mine up
So if you go to the Activision account it does give you the option to unlink your account and set it up with a new Battlenet tag. However you can only do this every 12 months. I unlinked and then was about to relink with my new Battlenet details, however I must have had cookies on my browser from the last time I logged into Battlenet...it automatically linked it back to the same account without any confirmation on my end So now I can't unlink again. Going to have to contact Activision support but from what I read online I don't think I'm going to have any luck with that.
Here's what I suggest you guys do:
1. Go to s.activision.com/act…gin and unlink your Battlenet account.
2. Once the game is downloaded on your Ukrainian account, hit "Play". It will then give you a popup saying if you want to automatically create an Activision ID or "Skip for now". Select Skip for now.
3. Once the game loads, it will ask for your Activision ID. Log in and it should link fine. Don't do it via browser or you'll run into the issue I had...
Good luck, looks like I won't be capitalising on this double XP weekend
Nah Warzone is an 80GB download, the full game is 160
yea tried multiple browsers, computers and networks - no luck! PoS just like the Bizzard client.
Thanks. In the end I just ended up making the account on my phone.
This definitely needs to be stickied.
That is definitely sad to hear but if you had a quick through the comments you would have realised you would lose cp when you relink your account
But hey look on the bright side you saved some £££ using this method (hopefully)
worth noting that even though it said "pending" i was still able to access the game right after payment (after downloading an extra 80+gb for some reason)
just loaded up the launcher now and its still on my account ready to play
Much appreciated
still working, no region lock
just follow the instructions in the OP and you will be good
Yes you can. Just link your psn account to your Activision account. I did the same with with xbox one and all my stats went over to pc.
Bro it's available now at this price! Get back on it.
I would like to know this, too
Once you have the game installed you can continue to use your previous call of duty account to play online. (stats unchanged) (edited)
link - i'm on the fence still
Cannot gift it. It says that this currency purchases are ungiftable.
I've just taken the plunge, £25 for the Battle Pass edition as opposed to £56 on the UK store.
From what I understand, I should be able to log into Modern Warfare with this new Ukrainian account, which will then prompt me to log into my Activision account (which is separate from the Blizzard account), and hopefully I can use my old and current UK activision account. It means that I'll be able to play with my old stats, but the game itself will still be attached to the Ukrainian Battlenet account.
88GB to go, will let you know tomorrow Worst comes to worst I can play the Campaign/Multiplayer on this account and the other for warzone (although in the long run I might be better with this one). It's all just skins anyway, I'll survive.
Cheers bud. Hopefully this works well! Was doing this via VPN easy enough?
I'm a little nervous!
Very, unlike other sites the Battlenet site stays in English so easy to purchase
did the points and skins carry over to your uk acc?
