About this deal

I just purchased one of these after deliberating over the various options... I went for budget version and really pleased ONLY TO FIND IT'S NOW DROPPED TO £70 SO THIS IS VERY GOOD VALUE!

This does work with Google Assistant - one feature of the higher models is Cardos Natural Voice but you don't need the, 1 click of a button let's you voice call, select music etc with Google Assistant.

Cheers!

2-way BT intercom.

Two riders at a range of 400m / 0.25mi.

Thin 32mm speakers and an advanced processor for an immersive sound.

Waterproof: No matter what you throw at it, your waterproof Spirit will take the beating and keep you connected.

Rain, shine, mud, dust, or snow.

Over-The-Air Software Updates: Always keep your unit updated via the Cardo Connect App. Download over-the-air software updates whenever a new version is available.

Universal connectivity: SPIRIT connects with any other Bluetooth headset of any brand. Connection is easy and painless.

I went for this one too.
    Excellent intercom, loud and clear
Glad I didn't opt for the HD version as this is more than good enough for me

Ah glad to hear it, I've not had time to test it on the bike but couldn't justify the extra for the better speakers either

very good deal....only supports Blue tooth and 2 connections though, that may be a show stopper
if you ride in big groups that use the mesh technology , that this BT unit can't connect to

Good price and great unit if you ride solo or with just one person at a time, OR don’t mind connecting from scrarch to a different person each time.
Can’t go wrong with Cardo, just don’t expect all their features at this price point (mesh etc). It’s an entry level intercom.
I had Spirit for a year and then decided to upgrade to the freecom

I've been using a pair of the Spirit HDs for Comms between myself and wife on the back.
    Works well.
As has been said, doesn't have mesh capability.

anyone tried using whatsapp audio calls as an intercom?.......I imagine wind noise might be a problem

It’s fine, I used it once as a last resort with someone who had some Amazon branded intercom. The sound quality isn’t as good for either side and if you lose signal the call ends rather than the intercom trying to reconnect for a bit. But it works at a pinch!
