How do they compare to duracell

It depends on the Duracell. Compared to a standard Duracell battery these will be around twice as much. They are more comparable to Duracell optimal I believe but the names and scale can be confusing.

    Not very expensive.
Some battery deals on here are much more than that and go really hot.
    I think this is decent.

they were £8 at Xmas for the same quantity. Look out for the Energiser Max plus (light blue logo) as picked up 6 batteries at asda for £3 in both AA and AAA a few weeks ago. Not sure if those are still priced at the reduced price or not. Those are the next ones up from here.

Na, can't find the max plus for even close to this price unfortunately. I do agree those are the top end ones and if you can find them at 6 for £3 then definitely buy them but for £4.50 for 8 for Energizer Max I think this is currently around the best price available. I stocked up because it doesn't come up often

    waste of money,
do not last any longer than the cheaper energizer ones (industrial)
    also leak.
also when they leak and damage your items, don't expect them to do anything except ask for a million photos....and still not be satisfied.
