Anyone used this firm recently? The last couple of reviews on Trustpilot don't look promising...

Ooft, just put me off. Cheers for posting.

This is the same price I paid for mine in 1996, and it's still in good condition! The inside of mine has a different lining though, its like nylon mesh. (heat added OP) (edited)

Ordered twice from these. Took just over a week with no problems.

Can I ask, was it fairly recently that you last ordered from them? Trustpilot reviews seem to stop for a couple of years and then the last two most recent ones in 2024 are negative.

I had an email this morning to say that my order has been processed. Just letting the people know...

Thanks, bought one. If anyone is after the carhartt windbreakers theres lots brand new with tags on eBay and if you offer £50 they'll accept it.

Are there any lighter waterproof Carhartt jackets anyone here would recommend? I need something for late Spring/early autumn when it's still not hot and there is a chance of rain.

Just bought med and large as I’m not sure on the sizing with these?
    Anyone any ideas?

WIP is UK EU sizing, however regular carhartt is US sizing which is a size up from UK.

Received mine today. 100% genuine and actually much better quality than I was expecting. Real steal at the price, thanks OP for posting.

Great. What was the sizing like - true to size? Thanks.

Look ok apart from the naff looking little square patch on the left hand pocket with the logo on it!

    That’s what makes it nice

can you update us on whether you get the product? The most recent Trustpilot reviews look unpromising!

84% Polyester and not waterproof, so clearly not the proper Carhartt work-line - what's the point besides the brand name?
Looks nice, but seems pricey for what is essentially non-waterproof plastic.

This isn't workweek it's thw WIP line which is the fashion/street clothing side of Carhartt, it's sizes are true to size unlike workwear, which is well oversized. WIP line is still well made and this is a steal at 80!

    RRP £289!? Madness.

Yes and no. I've got 3 Carhartt jackets bought in mid and late 90s. Used regularly and in rough environments. 1 for 6 days a week 10-11 hours a day for 6 years and strangely that's in better condition than the other 2.
    Carhartt Ranger and Mentley.
Some stuff you buy and will last years like with all things in life.
Saying that not everyone makes products like they used to so not sure if it would have the same longevity.
Timberland for example. Old is gold and still running strong...new stuff I've had go after a year or two....stitching fraying and don't get me started on their footwear and soles. (edited)

I have enough coats to open my own shop. I am addicted. I really want to buy this as it is an absolute steal at this price. I must resist…

Likewise. Wardrobes full of clothes I’ve hardly or never worn and still thinking about a purchase.
