    Note these are not handheld binoculars - both weight and very high magnification. You need a tripod.

    Certainly not something to give to your boating/sailing friends/relatives. Unless they like doing the Nelsonian, "I saw no signal". I inherited a German U Boat's 7 x 50 and they are challenging enough.

    Good for twitchers, possibly? I meant of the feathered persuasion and not curtain twitching.

    Can be iffy collimation according to some reviews I have read. One guy sent back a couple of pairs until he got one that was right.

    I tried a couple of pairs of these from Amazon a good few years ago and the quality was poor, both pairs had issues so I sent them back, hopefully things have improved. I went with an Olympus pair in the end and the quality was miles better at the time

    As mentioned do not buy these if you don't have a tripod. I managed about 40 seconds before my arms gave up lol.
