sorted byI know I know, I probably will recommend a 150 pound hydraulic set. Brakes are important, spend a little more, but you can still find a bargain. I have had good luck wth these X-Tech semi hydraulics . amazon.co.uk/Hyd…h=1
They are better built, look a bit superfly, and work well on both standard V brake and (with a little adjustment) drop levers. I have ridden a set myself for a year, and was very pleased with the performance.
Please don't buy these, they are an old design with faults a plenty, 10 pound more will get you something better, and it is worth the money. (edited)
