    Hi sarden, any chance of a rtx 3060ti build with small form factor, with a smart looking case for under £700?
    Your posts are really informative and I have learnt a lot.
    The recent costco deal is good but I don't like the white case.
    Cheers
    SN46's avatar
    Having small form cases adds costs to the build as mini itx boards are generally a bit more expensive. Unless you're going second hand I doubt you can achieve a 3060ti build for under 700

    I’ve got one of their laptops from a few years ago zoostorm/stormforce, still going strong and pretty good supports when I had to call them.

    Decent prebuilt . Might be worth adding Diablo 4 bundled to the title? It's definitely more attractive with that included.

    Id personally call Stormforce and add a cheap air cooler to it, the Intel stock is awful.
    Gamivo does win10 licenses for £6.10 for anyone worrying about lack of OS

    Is 16gb of ram enough these days? It's years since I built a pc but even at the time I put 16gb in it.

    Price based another link of theirs (custom tab) that kicks of with this very 16GB into the same branded 32GB is a cost increase of : 34.72 (that's actual inline with market expectations)

    so u can ask for it.

    Hi, @sarden84 - Big fan of your deals! I'm looking for a mid/high tier with a buget of £2500 that I can spend on a PC. Do you have a personal recommendation for this? Thanks!

    For The 4090 lot:

    • Get Diablo IV standard edition Bundle for FREE
    • Phanteks Eclipse G360A RGB - Black
    • Asus TUF X670E-Plus WIFI ATX Motherboard
    • AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8 Core, 16 Thread 5.0GHz Turbo
    • Zotac Nvidia GeForce Trinity OC RTX 4090 24GB Graphics Cards
    • MSI Core Liquid 240R V2 240mm RGB Liquid Coole
    • Team Delta RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 6000Mhz C38 DDR5 Memory
    • Corsair RM1000X 1000W Gold Rated Modular
    • Kingston FURY Renegade 2TB NVME M.2 GEN 4 SSD - Read 7300MB/s , Write 7000MB/s

    £3149.99 link PC (CODE: BBURGER = 3118.49)

    - PCPP: uk.pcpartpicker.com/lis…z2m

    1) £3000+ PC with £3000 Worth of parts.

    A typical system like the above would cost in excess all built: £3700 at other major sellers, one i can't mention, and if they have a system featuring 7800X3D/4090 at £3200 it would be certainly be stripped back by them.

    Understandably im not a personal fan of the price tag of RTX4090 by Nvidias

    however inhind sight, we are not talking about helping someone save £50 on a 3060Ti system,
    we not talking about someone saving £300 on a 4070, we talking about someone seeking the above kind of system and ending up paying 3700++++++

    Someone might mention, doing a 3K system supports Nvidia high prices: incorrect, giving people info that they can save £600 against major sellers who are so inclined to get a 4090 system, does far more damage in my eye. (edited)
  8. Zmek's avatar
    The 4070 is completely pointless because of the insane bottleneck from the CPU the 4070 is basically reduced to a 3060

    hopefully this answers ur QS.

    The history of the RTX 4070 Gaming Prebuilts.

    In the UK we have a number of different levels of firms, some of the major names, one which on this platform cant be mentioned and certainly one you aint missing at the moment either came in with a Ryzen 5500 + 4070 at way over 1k.

    Other platforms like Cyberpower, Overclockers, CCL, (inc Stormforce) in all honest very expensive too upon on launch.

    AWD-IT with this number here set the ground running, i was away that day in Skeg nice chap posted before i got back in,

    5600X / A520 / 480GB / 650W GM at £989 time u use code.

    # Which compared to the others, is absolutely stunning and still is.

    Palicomp the next day bought out

    5600X / A520 / 1TB / 700W CIT at £999.99

    Obviously trying to overshoot the AWD by £10 with offered more storage and gen4 storage(on a gen3 board)

    i don't know if their marketing worked, but within 13days they knocked £50 off.

    5600X / A520 / 1TB / 700W cit at £949.99

    Both AWD and Palicomp can be updated to
    (+30 at AWD for 1TB)
    +35 at AWD for 750W Gigabyte Gold vs +40 at palicomp
    +35 for each for the B550M motherboard.

    so doing them two boosters:

    Palicomp price £1025 vs awd price at £1090(time u use BBurger code) (both 1tb)

    AWD is on a backfoot.
    They do come with extended warranty periods as standard and u now get the 3x fan version which has been added in the menu. .

    Palicomp u can pitch that management within the gap price for the extended warranty + some freebies to work on and people love doing that, (thats my cup of teas as im pitcher) (but understandable others aint)

    so that leads me into the storm one, for that other type of user.

    and chap karl i believe hit the nail on the head and that's what caught my attention why i posted it.

    not everyone wants to mess about pitching, n boosting n co,

    for £999.99 u do have good quality parts + the extended warranty.

    Palicomp at £1025 doesnt come as standard with the extended warranty, but has better parts.

    The standard board at AWD/Palicomp is the A520 which is 3.0 motherboard in all cases.
    Their upgraded B550m at £35 more covers 4.0 in all regards.

    this H610M is in the middle, its a Motherboards thats made for 12400F , it lack m2 4.0 but gives GPU lane X16 4.0

    ur using after all a near enough £600 GPU and gettings full performance = nice one, (even if its only marginal aspect...)

    as for storage, if ur budget end and maxing ur gpu with the most highest GPU per budget, ur not really going to buy expensive nvmes and running top speeds, most go for budget gen3 that is reliable trust worthy, or the slow 4.0 ones which u might as well call 2.5 speeds.

    and the PSU, sits again in the middle, better the CIT and the Game 650W

    obviously not as good as the 750W Gigabyte GOLD V2 by either other firms.

    so its in the middle, at a lovely price, with an extended warranty.

    Other the hand, as ive said on the post, if ur the type that will be clicking +105 Windows, id 110% move to the other firm without any QS,

    +10 time we calc windows
    H610M -> B660
    Gen3 storage -> Gen4 Storage (and a good one too)
    650W Bronze corsair -> 650W EVGA GOLD
    CM Case -> GM Case

    meanwhile the old awd-it comes back heavey with preinstalled windows but not activated, but u got nice upgraded in repect of rams, all sorts of storages and u got that sweet 5700X and even sweeter 5800X3d for upper people.

    so within these 4 links, we have some mighty deals to please everyone.

    PS: CCL does have a new recent one here which has been a bit of a running joke around, 5700G/A320 to start with, but they have been called out and changed alot, but the site atm doesnt work for the code unless u buy the default spec. (edited)

    Palicomp -> hotukdeals.com/dea…876

    kick starts at £949.99 this is via A520 so no X16 and Cit FX700W

    most people are upgrading that to +40 750W Gigabyte and B550M + 35 = £1025

    So palicomp £25 More

    Stormvs Palicomp.
    12400F VS 5600X
    H610 x16:4.0 M2: 3.0 VS B550M X16:4.0 M2: 4.0
    Gen 3 vs Gen 4 storage
    Cm case vs 1st Case
    3Y P 3Y L VS 1Y P 3Y L (unless u management pitch)

    pali comp at £25 certainly offers some nice aspects for the tag.

    1) it's the warranty as standard.
    2) Despite Palicomp being gen4 storage, it's not a high-rate gen4 storage, its as the best gen3+ league.

    Against others: obvious both rocket ahead then ebuyer/scan/ccl.

    we are picking at two of the best, but here we have it man.

    If u are the user that adds windows.

    Storm price is £105

    DO NOT DO that -> hotukdeals.com/dea…561

    H610M -----> B660
    gen 3 ----> Gen4 (higher rate too)
    CM Case ----> Gamemax f15
    650W Bronze corsair ----> 650W GOLD EVGA

    wins n trofts.

    if i was buying pali: stick to £950 management pitch em, ull get one of the boosters in the management at £68. then u can say that extra cost gives more product with the 3 full years warranty.

    and if u want a straight forward no hassel services from one of the elites firms in the game, storms got ur number too, there part of VIP Group, so no flying night firm here. (edited)
  16. FairPriceSystems's avatar
    Author
    If storm is reading this: Nice one girls/lads.(who ever u are)

    - ur all on here, so cut the mustard.

    You have options to add windows,

    this area u could use to do boosts, so u could copy pali comp style.

    +32GB Ram,
    +B660M board
    +12600K / upper board spec.
    +13400F/B760

    obvious its here to push some left over 12400f at a very good price, but no doubt backend ull have a gather stock in another light, so get thinking what u got n get adding to the options, i always check them side options, so use them,

    5600x and 12400f are on par with performance. Both have budget mobo. AWD had nicer MSi 4070 with 3 fan design. Stormforce has better Storage. Neither is perfect and corners cut on both.

    H610M ive picked being cheaper to help UK market, only lacks M.2 4.0 not as if he is using any decent storage, either, or a high end CPU, so really is a pointless investment, on this budget end.

    and he has chosen to kill back to 8GB, whereas ive gone straight into 16gb which puts me just over his £/$500 $=£ nearly after tax.

    650W choosen allows abit further headroom then his 500w too. (edited)

    Hi you seem very knowledgeable, i have a budget of £1k (£+50 for 32GB RAM) is this the most powerful in terms of graphics for gaming i can get for this price at the moment that you know of? Would you go for anything else? I game on 1440p, upgrading from a GTX 970 i want this new build to also last 10 years (knowing the performance will slowly die like it did with my GTX 970, thanks in advance! (edited)
  38. EdwardoRowlando's avatar
    This looks good but comments about the CPU being a bottle neck and cooling being an issue are putting me off.

    Can anybody recommend me an alternative CPU which 'matches' the power of the other components, so that they aren't being held back? I can see somebody recommended an AliExpress Snowman for cooling.

    I'll be going for 32GB RAM.

    How can I go about having them put your recommendations in instead, do you need to message them? Thank you.
    Tantrix1's avatar
    Just spoke to them 13400f is another extra £100 which is £50 extra on market price, but this will be much better than 12400f, type on Google gpu bottle neck and add cpu gpu and ram info and click calculate it will show you percentage of bottleneck, im not too happy with 12400f as its showing as 20% bottleneck even if it doesn't happen on all games i don't want it to happen on any game spending this much..
