me too can you claim off paypal if it doesnt work out iam guessing

I have bought from them for years and the last few times has been a nightmare with wrong items being sent, though not to worry too much they have a warehouse in Portsmouth as I know this I makesure they agree I can send it to that address instead of sending back to China.

They say you cannot send recorded delivery when returning but I do and always take pictures of the original packaging and item and any sku stickers as needed to file a claim with them.

Once sent back you will have to chase them for the refund and provide a scan of the tracking receipt or proof of posting if sent with no tracking.

Also as a must you have to register for an account or it will be nearly impossible to get it sorted if you use the guest checkout.

Hot deal and very tempted at this price for my child to use

Done this to mine, its safe.

UPDATE TO 1.06 + REMOVE CHINESE APPS + GAIN ROOT ACCESS:

    Download this ZIP file.
On the tablet, make sure USB Debugging is turned off (Settings, Developer options).
Connect the data cable to the tablet and PC.
On the tablet, "Turn on USB storage".
Extract "update.img" from the downloaded ZIP file and copy it to the root of the tablet.
Reboot the tablet, it will then prompt for you to upgrade.

Ordered after raiding my daughters savings account whilst I explained it was her early Christmas present to me. I said Santa would deliver before Christmas (hopefully).
Received this message after placing order... 'We will get down to fulfill your order as soon as possible.' and it conjured up images of little Chinamen boogying and gyrating to da beat whilst tossing tablets across the warehouse to each other.

    I need help.

Oops, went to click 'EDIT' and the cat brushed my hand over to 'DELETE'. Seriously. Thankfully though, someone quoted my post so it hasn't been lost.
    Edited:

Merry Christmas to all and best of luck to anyone still waiting to receive theirs. Now that i've had chance to play around with the tablet, I cannot recommend it enough at the price. Graphics performance is well above par, somewhat in line with my HTC One X+ (all the more impressive considering its pushing twice as many pixels). Just make sure you do 3 things:

1: Remove the top screen protector. This screen looks a lot better without the plastic film its shipped with (it also gets rid of those pesky stickers!). There is already a screen protector below the top film. Replacement screen protectors HERE.

2: Use 2000mA (2A) 5V power. I made a slip up when the tablet wasn't charging above a certain percentage, the 500mA USB adapter was the problem (doh!). For a proper charger, HERE is the cheapest I've found at £3.39 (or HERE for faster estimated delivery, £4.50).

3: Flash the stock ROM to THIS (a free account needs to be registered to download the link). On top of the obvious benefits mentioned, if you ever have to reboot to factory defaults for whatever reason, you don't need to worry about it all being in Chinese.

    OPTIONAL:
Open ArcTools, then in the dropdown menu, select "Rockchip generic (RK3066, RK3188) CWM Recovery v 6.0.3.1". Click "Download", then "Install apps". After ClockworkMod has installed, you will now have an android recovery system (Google, if unfamiliar). This will allow you to perform tasks such as system backups and restoring to factory default setup ("factory" meaning the last ROM you installed). Other functions of the tablet can be unlocked with GravityBox (via Xposed Installer). Also, AdAway and Lucky Patcher are (IMO) essential apps to any Android device.

Mine just arrived at 9 this morning after having arrived in Heathrow on Xmas eve. Cant believe I actually got it after waiting for over a month looking at this thread everyday. A big thanks to the OP for this the best deal I got all of 2013 on HUKD. I believe billythekid didnt actually get his which is unfortunate as if he hadn't shared it here he probably would have. If anyone ordered two and has a spare drop him a PM instead of sticking it on ebay.

People who are on here complaining really need a bit of a reality check. You have got a 9" tablet with an excellent screen for £50 delivered ffs! I havent even put a custom rom on mine yet and I'd still be happy if I couldnt. Again it cost you £50 so stop comparing it to ipads nexuses etc.

Well I installed the slateddroid hybrid rom and it is far superior to the arctablet one. To be honest the arctablet one is a complete shamble and I would advise no one to use it especially as it is never going to get any better with no support it seems. The slateddroid one doesn't lag all the time, doesn't crash completey and is just faster all round. Next I will try the stock rom with the two recommended launchers from above.

    On-going ROM development HERE.
Currently using this one myself, had no problems so far and is the fastest and most stable of all ROMs (custom or official) I've tested. Also prefer the layout (clock at the bottom etc. but then YMMV).

If its a mis-price why does their site say it is 61% off currently at $81.99 so that makes the original price of $212.10 about right. Can understand the misprice but actually quoting the percentage discount surely can't be an oversite can it?

Its business tactics from these guys

Desperately give some cheap deals with limited quantity then get popular and get more customers get registered to their site and keep sending them about more promotions and spam them

They knew more people ordering and they don't have that much stock, but will be keep watching it happily as their tactics works.

    Its really crap site

wouldn't order anything again from these dirty trick fellows

You dont happen to be an employee of dealextreme by any chance ?

Nothing dodgy about this company, as has been said you just don't understand how it works. I have bought hundreds of items from them, I currently have 5 orders with them, They take forever, they don't hold stock they get it from the mainland after you order but they are cheep!
If you shop with then regular you would understand it's not Amazon LOL

No movement until I decided to try online chat. I spoke to Gavin who said that they weren't sure they would be getting anymore stock but offered to prioritise my order. 10 mins later I get an email saying fully shipped and this morning I have a tracking number that is not available to track online at the moment
    Who knows?

as someone already mentioned, the tablet comes with a pre fitted screen protector. the one with the stickers on it is actually the second one.....so feel free to peel off the first screen protector and if you carefully observe the tablet screen there is a screen protector already fitted. it was done so well that it is hard to find through naked eye.....

I didn't buy them from there, but from HERE and you get to choose.

Very cheap, good quality, all holes line up correctly and tablet is snug. Also has the 'Cube' logo stamped. Only downside, delivery could be a few weeks.

If I then connect it to the charger it boots upStock romCheers

I bought 2 U39GTs at the same time and one charges from 'off', the other reboots as you describe. I flashed them both to the same ROM (as per my instruction in previous posts), but they both still charge in that different way.

    My theory:

One of the tablets arrived with v1.04, the other was v1.06. I forget now which one was which (to simplify this...), a system file could be missing or corrupt in one of the firmware versions. You could install the stock v1.04, see if that fixes. If not, flash stock v1.06 over it. If either methods work, THEN install the custom ARCTABLET ROM (HERE) to root and get rid of the chinese apps.

Please post results if successful or not.

BACK-UP EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KEEP. Titanium backup is a good way to go.
    TempestU39GT ROM (slatedroid) available HERE.
    Details of ROM HERE.
Install as per the arctablet one.

Tempest is based on 1.04 rather than 1.06, for "stability" reasons. If this is truly more stable (as tezray and others have mentioned), I'll try it myself. Donate to the guy and you get a CWM flashable version. Download the free version (above) and you end up having to reinstall and restore your stuff.

That system will be automatic, they will have a database that has the price they're selling it for, an RRP price and the system will work out the percentage you are "saving" and then just create a graphic. It means nothing that it's there. I'm sorely tempted. Heat added anyway
