I want one for DIY work through brick. My current old black and decker can't cope at all. Any recommendations? My corded one flies through brick but need a cordless (edited)

This one at Screwfix appears to be a good deal for only £99.99

Why does it have powerstack in the heading, when it's a bare tool only!

Is powerstack not compatible with all xr 18v tools!

Yeah it's compatible with all batteries at 18v but is recommended with powerstack to keep it light and compact.

Is this the best 18v drill for DeWalt you can get ?
    mitchellandking's avatar
No you can go up to the 900 range. Depends what you’re doing. I have the 796 and it’s ample but I also have an SDS which goes through brick like butter

Disappointed that it came unboxed. Was intended as a gift. Little to no protection through the post, just a plastic bag and some paper wrapping. Nothing to protect it while being beaten about.

That's how all my tools have come other, other than my dcs570 that was boxed and those which were sold with tstak case included. These tools are broken up from larger sets to reduce costs
