The DJI Mini 3 Pro is currently reduced to £638. Hopefully this is useful to anyone who missed the Ebay deal a couple of weeks ago.

I recently bought one of these drones during the Ebay deal and they are fantastic. So glad I got one! Well worth the money.

Not really worth it with this remote and the DJI Mini 4 likely coming out soon.

Edit for the laughing ones that don't think, just ridicule, sad. Enjoy your buyer's remorse of buying the inferior version of a product that will soon be much cheaper anyway. There is a reason this has a score of just 70 points... even if your highness thinks it's a great deal, most agree it's not.

How often do you think about flying it to another city? Legally in the UK you're meant to keep it within visual line of sight at maximum 500 meters so range shouldn't matter unless you go abroad a lot.

Also, with the screen version you don't have to drain your phone's battery, shorten its lifespan, and faff around with putting it in and removing it and the extra cables.

Plus having your phone hang on the top of a controller has massive balance issues due to centre of gravity pulling it forward - the integrated screen one is much more comfortable to hold and use.

Also, the cable is a moving component putting strain on the cable itself, the port on the remote, and the port on your phone - slowly wearing and risking damaging all 3. (edited)

4 due out soon but this remote in my opinion is better than the one with built in screen. I have got far better range with this one than my friend who has the built in screen controller and this is cheaper than that version.

Does any one know whether you will need an operator Id to own and fly this drone
    alasky86's avatar
Only a flyer ID is required as it's under 250g. Anyone who wants to fly must pass an online theory test on flying safely and legally. Its also free of charge. 250g to 25kg requires operator ID

Have added that to the description, thanks

I think the version with the screen will be about £600 soon, when the 4 launches.

Sorry about this but if anyone can spare cash for drones in the Ukraine, please do. There are official channels etc. I'm just hoping for the best over there.
After the football game tonight I hope its reminded people whats going on.
I hope this isn't blocked as this is important, especially to shoppers ! (edited)

Just be aware that the rules are likely to change soon, meaning that even lightweight drones can only be flown in the countryside.

You may find that your new hobby is short lived.

Plus you will be broadcasting a signal to anyone disclosing where the drone is and where you are.

You'll also need to pay £10 for a drone licence and I'd highly recommend purchasing 2 years of DJI Care Refresh (£120) and the Fly More Kit (£160).

Also note, the cheaper drone listed here doesn't come with a screen built into the controller. So you might also want to buy the slightly more expensive model (£715).

It's a good deal, but it's not a cheap hobby!

I'd wait out for Mini 4 Pro. It comes with the RC2 unit too. Was told it would be priced around £869 or £979 with the flymo kit.

I;d expect the latter with the screen controller and no kit.
