A vote for the cheap £4 ones on AliE work great and used one to track some air fright and was good as got updates as it traversed the UK and then to Turkey onwards to final destination. Currently have one in some sea freight but last update end of january when it was at the sea port. Assume will resurface when the ship docks and the container offloaded. Remember to remove speaker if you need it to be undetectable.

When you say you got updates, what do you mean please? The Apple and cheap airtags I have only show me where they are at the point I check the Find My app.

Bought one of these the last time they were on offer and put it in the boot of my car as a simple car tracker.. follows it well when the wife uses it

Eufy stuff's alright and this is a good price for it, voted hot. I've recently bought Airtag clones from Aliexpress for less than £4 each and so far so good (only had them a few months though)

    Link to the clones please?

Wish I’d bought these instead of the Apple ones. The one in my car beeps even if it’s only me getting in the car (with the iPhone I set it up with), despite resetting it. I understand and totally agree with the anti stalking set up but it’s a bit irritating it can’t work out I’m not stalking myself!

Maybe you have multiple Apple devices and one of them at home is being used for your primary location?

Either that or double check that it’s in your Items list in the Find My app (edited)

These any good for cases going on holiday ?
    harrythefish's avatar
Yes but I suggest you try to accompany the case.

Seriously though, I used an Apple one to track my luggage on long haul and it was great.

I kept one on my keyring. With keys on my pocket, it went off all the time. I send them back. Got Tile ones at Christmas. same set up, but they've only gone off 3 times in 2 months. All have a press button which rings the keys. It can't be turned off on either model, but the Eufy one (which once apparently had an app option to turn it off) has a far more than sensitive button.

Technology & I aren't the greatest of friends so apologies in advance for my enquiry but is there a cheapish device that would work with an Android phone please (Samsung)
