Tough choice then. For me I wouldn't advise buying a spark without the controller it's good but the controller really does make a world of difference. Also when you put aemoty card in your drone make sure you have cache set in settings on the DJI app so it records to the memory card and the phone. Please don't do what I did and look at the footage on the phone and think it's rubbish as it only records in 720p on the phone and looks grainy .Once you take the memory card out of the drone view it then and you'll be amazed on how good it is.In all the drone is superb and groundbreaking for its size and performance.Enjoy it.

I Found some mixed reviews of them on tinterweb so was also a bit put off but they have 96% from over 4,200 reviews on Amazon market place. Looks like it’s a bit of a toss of a coin as £150 less than the next best price, which has also been cut, is a bit much to dismiss out of hand. Can’t find anything to indicate this would be a grey import. Trading through Amazon, a “reputable” company, game and their own website from a Shropshire address looks like a legit British business, IMO.
I would go for the £150 cheaper version as you will have to void the warranty to open it up and stick in a micro sd card in so you can get the full FCC range of over 4 miles and no restrictions on height or no fly zones.

Try to cover everything in one video. The packaging, any paperwork and then the faulty controller not doing what it's supposed to do. As mentioned, it is the norm with Chinese companies. Hopefully you get things sorted.

Thanks, I did read also that the Drone batteries take ages to charge if …Thanks, I did read also that the Drone batteries take ages to charge if you just plug it in, like over 4 hours so the charging hub is necessary too plus a back up battery? Wonder what the warranty would be like, buying from Eglobal?

I know people who have got DJI drones from eglobal and have registered them fine but I guess it's a personal choice on if you think there is a risk. I got a Mavic from abroad and bought the DJI care refresh cover for £100 for the year, I see no reason why you could not do the same for the Spark and it costs £59.00, this would give you cover if you crash etc.

The charge hub only charges multiple batteries, one at a time (I have it for the Mavic) but does not charge any quicker. I do not have a Spark (yet) but I doubt it takes 4 hours to charge a battery as they are usually around an hour each.

I am not defensive about it at all, I found it curious to why anyone would …I am not defensive about it at all, I found it curious to why anyone would lie about this. I was actually trying to share knowledge about the business I am in.-Firstly, there is zero information here to relate me to my business.-I never once said said I have business deals with DJI (though I run a small eBay store that absolutely kills it on sales, this is more of a side hobby selling some spare DJI parts, I am talking 8k a month turnover) -You realize you are talking to someone who started a business with £50 and absolutely no support from anyone? I consider myself a bit of a genius.-You are not in this position and if you ever were, you will understand that time is money and how to make money work for you. - I do not and have never once said, I have business deals with DJI! I have a lot of spare time, it's a little thing called leverage. As I have mentioned, I simply can't share the photos sent with anyone online. I know that my supplier has a handful of people he trusts. I do not in any way, shape or form want to be known by my supplier as a leak source and for good reason. So please stop trying to make it seem so black and white. I could provide these photos to a third party and they release them for me. But again I do not want any possibility of me being associated to links. You understand that an ordinary factory worker on a basic wage could loose their job and income if they are found to be leak source? I made a commentYou accused me of lying and claimed superstitionThen when one questions your intention, you tell them they are projecting. I used to be a bit salty working for a dead end job too, so I kind of see it for what it is

Grow up ffs. This kind of patheticness spoils HUKD for everyone else. If you honestly feel the need to project how informed and 'sucessful' you are, please do it somewhere else.

The default is actually a linear landing (straight line) and I prefer that . Personally I am used to piloting RC planes so I just fly it in low into the headwind and then hit the land button. It's very easy to do because you don't have to worry about keeping it straight you can concentrate on the height and speed. If there is some wind it will come down in a very short distance, otherwise it can glide quite far so allow enough space.

Very nice to use by the way, and never had anything go wrong. Mine is in perfect nick still.
