I have the first Gen of these. Can I just purchase this and use the same case?

    No, they're a different shape

Keep flirting with the idea of replacing my original echo buds for these V2s purely down to the style and usb C and the white option….

But I find the V1s completely adequate for my usage albeit quite ugly

I’ve read reviews that V2’s actually sound worse than the originals and are seen as more of a downgrade?

    Can anyone concur?

I have both the v1 and v2. I think the sound quality on the v1 are slightly better as is the ANR slightly better than the ANC on the V2. Battery life, size and comfort on the V2 are better for me. Im not an audiophile so obviously this is just my subjective experience.

I do have the sony wf000xm4 buds and they beat both the v1 and v2 hands down in audio quality and play time but are bigger. But like the v1 the battery life seems to be about 1 year of near constant usage before there is a steep decline in play hours. I know there is no comparison considering the batteries to replace the ones in the xm4 cost as much as a set of v2 buds.

Can anyone let me know if these are comfortable to wear when lying in bed?

Tried lots of medium priced buds and the only ones comfortable lying in bed are [drum roll] Soundcore A3i. Come with an excellent app. Great for calls too.

Blimey that's a good deal, though I feel a bit like Trigger and his broom (even though it's all new to me)

Yup confirmed for £30.97. I was going to buy a pair of P3i but this seems like the better deal. Thanks OP

Ordered, thanks a lot OP. Amusingly the left and right earbuds seem to be coming from different warehouses, as they are being delivered separately!

It's amazing that this makes logistical sense for Amazon to do. Each earbud and the case all coming from different places

Great price. Been waiting for these! Thank you! Got with wired case for £30.xx

Um how do you pair them together, I seem to have both registered as different devices.
Ah in the case and factory reset (button for 15 seconds or so)
    Or not, grrrr...
    Or do work.
Sorry about that they sound ok so far. (edited)

Anyone know if you can definitely use audible alexa commands on this when your phone is still locked (android by the way) ? I have some Samsung buds which can access the alexa assistant with a long press but it won't listen to your command until I unlock the phone which defeats the object as if you're doing that you might as well use the alexa app on your phone to change your music etc and I can't do that when working. Any thoughts before I take a chance. Thanks in advance
    ret1415's avatar
Yes you can summon Alexa with the “wake word” Alexa or echo…. It has to be enabled when the buds are connected

“Hands free with AlexaEcho Buds work with the Alexa app to play music, stream podcasts or read Audible audiobooks. Advanced microphones give you hands-free access to Alexa—no tapping required. Just ask Alexa to skip songs, resume reading or turn up the volume.”

Good deal - they aren’t the last word in sound quality or anc, but the hands free is good for running / gym etc. Difficult to see much better value at the price (edited)

How are these for mic quality? I want to replace my headset for business video calls via Slack/Teams/Google Meet for something less bulky. I understand that the quality won't be on par with a headset and boom mic option, but are they decent enough?

Went to order and got the same. So annoying!!!

Good price but awful product don't waste your money. I got these on Prime Day for £29 but sent them back as the sound is just so bad. Plus, the battery life is no way near the quoted usage time. Also, it says it has noise cancelling, but although the earbuds will say the words noise cancelling on, there is no sound difference .

I can't seem to get this to work?

Thanks for posting. Missed this break down deal last time it was up. Had trialled Anker P2i's and thought those were good for the price. But build quality aint great. Had two pairs of those fail on me. So had been looking for different type to try. Hoping I cant go wrong with these for 30 quid !

Do these fit as well as the V1s? Looking for some for use at the gym as my air pod pros fall out every so often. The v1 were great but for some reason will not connect to my phone anymore.

You tried doing a factory reset?

does it worth upgrading from Samsung buds live?

Mine won't connect as one item buds don't connect at all so sending them back
    Dazza_DCFC's avatar
You need to do a factory reset to get them to work together. I think it's because you bought them separately as 'spares'.

Try following the steps here: amazon.co.uk/gp/…VQU

I'm glad I couldn't find a replacement bud on sale in the past, because the support just sent me a brand new set after I asked how can I get a single bud.
Idk if it would fly now, but worth asking I guess?
