I'm not opposed to it but AliExpress is rife with electronics flashed with custom BIOSes to report them differently to what they are.

This is actually a genuine product, but it's not rx580, we know. This is technically rx570 core with higher clocks and rx580 memory system.
This version is up to 20% slower than normal rx580. Also, this card is remanufactured, and what it means is that the manufacturer took a gpu chip and memory from an old/damaged/dead card and put it onto a new pcb.
Some of these cards are Frankensteins, where every bit came from different dead cards to the point where every memory module will be from different makers and different specs

    I don’t think it’s worth, spend 10-20 more and get a used standard 580 8gb from eBay.

You’ll know what you’re getting with easier refund if there’s something wrong and quicker delivery times

I ordered one of these a few months ago, arrived in 5 days.

Had no problems with it so far.

Remember the price what you pay. They are good for what you get no complaints but my ELSA went gradually faulty after 3 months bits started failing.

It's a newly built card from used bit's. It's clean but they have not been tested at all so bear that in mind.

Bought one on the last deal posted a couple months ago. Delivery was extremely fast and I am currently playing Diablo 4 no problem at all with this card.

Performance is around HALF of a 5700, which itself is around HALF of a 6800. Good for older games, including AAA, at 1080P. A complete no-hoper for newer AAA games though.

From the same Far East source, at somewhat more than twice the cost, is the far better 6600M - around the same performance as the 5700 but much more power efficient.

This 570 (the 580 really means the uncut die) has good drivers, and works well as a basic PC GPU, with hardware support for most common video CODECs for playback. However, it is sad that neither Ngreedia or AMD want to sell any good enough new GPUs in the sub-100 quid range. AMD now focuses on APUs (at this price point), which at best struggle to reach 50% of the 570 performance- but have better video CODEC support.

Or if the Glass was HALF FULL, you could also say the RX580 was:-

Faster than a 1030 a 1050Ti, a 1650, a 1650 Super, a 1060-3GB and a 1060-6GB, plus a 470, 570 and a few others, which, as you say, for this price, is still fairly capable for all but eager gamers, which is utter madness this long after release! ;-p

This being Ali Express no doubt this will be a Voodoo 3D FX card.

    It's legit. I've got one.

I purchased one of these right at the point of the pandemic and shutdown for 100 quid... Great card. Even better was when I sold it for 300 pounds and upgraded the 3060ti for what amounted to £79 more .. then again sold the 3060ti for £1000 for the 3080ti as it was hash locked and I only game... So all in I got a 3080ti for what amounted to roughly £400 which is about what they should be.

But this card is seriously good for the price and if you have no requirement to run the latest and greatest it's still a great GPU...HEAT! (edited)

Did they have to make the cage so small?!

Good price for a decent GPU. It comes down to your attitude to risk - you can buy from CEX with a 2 year guarantee for £75, but if you're ok with less support then this would be a good buy. (edited)

Crazy cheap in CEX. I've been tracking price for a while and they were £110 about 6-8week ago. Then dropped to 90 now this.

Great price. Personally I stopped reading on at the first line tbh.
