I walked 7.5 miles with it, 15 miles round trip (sure beats a gym workout, for insane things to do) so it's not particularly heavy!

In other words it does feel flimsy, sure, like a lot of printers, these days, which bothers me, but filling the ink wells was wonderfully effortless, mess free and even fun! For an office printer, it works well, for us. I haven't tried printing photographs on photo paper, yet, heard that like a lot of three ink plus 1 black printers it's not so good for that, but it was bought as a general purpose printer to serve several people in the house and works well for that.

I got fed up of refilling old ink cartridges or using third party cartridges, with sometimes patchy, inconsistent results, saved a bit of money but took a bit of time and was sometimes messy, unlike with this printer. Bought it during a promotion at Cosco for £132. If you're fed of inconsistent or patchy results from third party cartridges for your printer or fed up of fiddly, time consuming refills of old cartidges, would recommend this printer.

Can anyone print a photo and share it on here? I’m not looking for amazing photo quality..but need a printer that will print dvd covers for my damaged ones.

I haven’t got a photo to share but I did just buy this through the Amazon deal and posted some early feedback here hotukdeals.com/com…999

I would say it would be ideal for what you need. Photo printing is very good, although colours very slightly lighter than the original. You probably wouldn’t notice unless you had the original photo side by side.

Also do any owners know if these are OK for occasional use i.e. do the jets clog up if you don't use it for say a month?

Had an Epson Workforce that did exactly that so I went Colour Laser, but now that has horrible fading/banding.

Brilliant printers, now on 3rd year of pretty reasonable use (both my wife and I work from home) and still only half way through the coloured inks that came with it (black has been replaced once)
So much more economical than cartridges

Well worth the extra outlay - only on second set of inks (free) with one I bought prior to covid - parter was printing out colour prints for school kids in street all during covid!

Exactly the same with me.  brought for covid lockdown and kids homeschooling.  Only about to buy my first new black ink now.
not great for photos but awesomely economical for everything else. bin your HPs and get this instead.

Anyone know if it is at this price at any costco (or just Milton Keynes). It is £160 at Costco online

Something to note if you're having problems getting it to print and it says 'searching' for printer or searching for wifi Direct connect and doesn't get past that. Wifi pickup range with this printer isn't the best. In the end, I had to move the printer to room much closer to the router in order for it to properly connect with my phone and tablets and then it worked fine. You don't need the Epson app that in frustration I downloaded (was glad to uninstall it, invasiveness/privacy wise.)

Again, generally, though construction of the plastic parts is flimsy, a little more so than most flimsy modern printers, I'm happy with the printer, the mechanism at least doesn't sound cheap/strained, and would recommend if you're fed up with ink cartridges/inconsistent third party cartridges, or with the mess and hassle of refilling cartridges, if your printer even allows that.
