May 2020 Which?: Aldi Magnum Original All in One £2.99 for 40 These are the best dishwasher tablets we’ve tested. Aldi Magnum Original All in One excel at removing all types of food stains, from dark tea marks to tough grease. They also do a great job of keeping crockery watermark-free and preventing glasses from becoming cloudy after multiple washes. What’s more, they’re the cheapest dishwasher tablet per wash we’ve tested, so you’ll save money, too.

pcs7038

Which? have just tested the latest Aldi tabs and on their tests is scored equally with Fairy Platinum £3.49 for 40

I used to use Lidl own but always ended up re-washing glasses.. I don’t have that problem with this

tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/promotions/A32831862 Sorry, 57 washes not 54... Still does the washing, so almost the same result

COUPONKEV

That’s because they don’t make the gel in a 54 wash volume. The only 54 wash volume they do is the Laundry Liquid or Fabric Conditioner. You were looking at the wrong product.

junk15

Yesterday it was online, today is not there, only 38 washes shown. Yesterday was 3 product on page - today 2.

You said 99% of users are well enough to go out. That is not true and not relevant. Your replies are far too generalised, as if you think you know the circumstances of "most people". I assure you, you do not. It is arrogant to assume that you do, unless you are a statistician who is fully abreast of everybody's circumstances... We too disinfect everything that arrives. I am fit and well but am Shielding an extremely vulnerable person by not venturing out of the house/garden. I use my digital skills to protect him further by only buying items that arrive here to be disinfected before touching. Yes it limits our access to many items, but what price does "life" have? I'd rather he survived to resume our normal "bargain-hunting" life when it's safe to go out again, than lose him now by insisting on paying the cheapest price by going out to "shops".

money_saving_mamma

It's not that easy to get a home delivery or click and collect. I've looked since the beginning of all this on all of the super markets and in my area the slots have been non existent. In terms of carers, some people live with their carers so they are also in isolation so are not able to go out. Any deliveries that enter my home are left on the door mat so no interaction is given with drivers, a sign is also placed on my door advising the driver that we are in isolation so they are not to touch the front door and all items are picked up with a pair of gloves on and they are antibacterial wiped down before they even enter the home. This should also be the case for people going shopping in store. They should be removing their shoes before entering their homes and having a system where they antibacterial wipe down all items purchased then wipe down floors that the bags have touched. It's common sense at the end of the day. Deliveries and going into store are no different, the virus can live on surfaces and clothing and enter the home. Surprisingly some elderly people don't have anyone to rely on for kindness in this day and age. My nan is 90 years old and she depends on amazon prime for her deliveries, so I don't believe that comment to be true. She has an amazon kindle and tablet. At present she has been in isolation for 4 weeks and has had to rely on my aunt dropping her food off as she cannot get any home deliveries either and she is at the other end of the country to me. Iceland ask are you and elderly or a vulnerable person, you click yes and you still cannot get a delivery. The government have made the requirements very small for people who are vulnerable. I do not believe in the whole of the UK there is only 1.5million vulnerable, if that was the case then there would not be so many people on PIP who cannot work due to their disabilities. The government have got it all wrong in terms of criteria. If you look on the gov website it states several health conditions which would be eligible then when applying these conditions are not on there. Totally contradictory.

Msafiri

Let's give OP a break. Keep the comments aside for now and enjoy the long weekend. :) Unless such a non-deal deal is posted again.

Can't see much discussion of these on HUKD but they were £4, reduced to £2 over two years ago in Morrisons, mentioned in these HUKD posts, here and here Amazon had them for £2.35 a pack about 8 years ago (though the packaging looks different)

sussexroyal

No need for these if you use Fairy Platinum pods to wash dishes

louiselouise

You can break up the sealed tablets (there's tear off sections on the pack) to store them till you need them. Just put two in my tub of dishwasher tablets. I've used a powder-y Dishwasher Cleaner before, Sun branded, which came in long, thin sachets and they did the job just as well as liquid ones.

Mine arrived as well today. Thanks OP.

HoneyJamToast

Just as heads up this is now in stock and ready for delivery. Ordered mine with the expected delivery date of mid-March to mid-April. Mine is out for delivery today! I know this doesn’t obey the holy grail of £0.10 per tablet but ~£0.12 (£0.117) isn’t bad - I’m not going to sweat over £2.00 as Fairy Platinum hardly ever goes on offer for this price (If it does it’s normally a wild goose chase in a random Tesco store somewhere and bar the recent anomaly of the Wilko deals I missed ;( - I follow dishwasher tablet prices closely [I’m fun at parties I swear] and this is a pretty decent deal) Heat added OP!

66kirk66

Thanks OP, just ordered. Delivery from 13th March to 3rd April. Would never let stock run so low I couldn’t wait a week or two for delivery. Not the ‘magic 10p a pop’ but pretty close, and the best anywhere right now.
