This is happening with my app as well.

This has been happening recently to quite a few people.On mine (Android) it is darkened out in grey and nothing happens when you click on it.
Think they are stopping the older versions of the app from working.
May need to upgrade or ask in the shops.

I think they want people to upgrade because on the old app you didn't have the 5 minute countdown timer.

I upgraded the app and the 5 minute countdown timer is there. The problem is that when you press on the 'use it' button if you don't have a good internet connection then the code doesn't appear, and then it shows expired after 5 minutes.

That's exactly the problem.
If you do it at the till,then sometimes you can't get a connection and no code will show;
Whereas if you do it beforehand,if there's a long queue,the damn timer expires and T&C says no screenshots allowed.:(

i installed the app with my mum's O2 sim. she is now on holiday abroad so she has switched her mobile off. not sure if this may be the cause of the problem? have you got a valid o2 sim and still getting a problem with your app?

My o2 sim is new one.
I think is more to do with the app,as I think older versions (Android anyway) seems to be crashing.

yes you are correct. i found the app on google play and updated my app which works now.
it does need a new security code so luckily i had an o2 payg sim to use as my mum's o2 sim is with her abroad.

thank you for sharing. no problems here. Both my husband and I used codes and received two really nice cards worth a total value of £7 free.

Can't see it anymore. I got one this afternoon so must have got one in the nick of time, although it stated that there were 5 days left. Must have reached the number of cards they wanted to give away.

10000 is the daily limit I failed to get one this afternoon

should it reappear today then? app went funny other day so didn't claim and now it's not there :-( husband is most annoyed he now has to choose one himself!!
