sorted bylol, in general terms you really need to decide if the hardware is right for you (processor is a bit low, 1080p is a bit crap, and does it have the ports you need) and then do some research to see if this model has thermal throttling or odd tgp scores, can it be under-volted and can it be overclocked if this is important to you, then check if the noise from it is too irritating.
Then you need to check if the generic 4xxx stability problems with drivers and firmware, which still seems to an issue for a good few peeps on different laptops, are causing problems with this model.
Last, but by no means least, need to decide if the price is right for you or if you want to wait hoping it will get a better deal. Deciding when to pull the trigger is so difficult. :P
I think the next meaningful breakthrough will be when DLSS / FSR mature further in both implementation and game support such that a mid-range or non-gaming laptop can provide a worthwhile 4k experience on most modern titles.
Being able to tote around a 13" laptop that can manage 4k games is the dream. I imagine we'll get there within 3-5 years.
4050 is more than enough for 1080
I sold it & got a Lenovo legion pro instead - a world of difference, it really is a pro laptop - really decent build quality…
