Has anyone seen a replacement base tray for these? As managed to scrub off some of the teflon coating.

    Thanks (edited)

I could have sworn these were £46 with the VAT at Gateshead store on Saturday, soon as you walk in two pallets full on the right

£44.39 in store. We bought one. Very happy so far. (edited)

Anyone cooked whole chicken in this?
    RaMoS87's avatar
Yep, came out amazing, I turned the basket upside down part way to get juices to baste chicken with. Don’t forget to hold your chicken , PS, no bigger than a medium

Be warned. This does stink horrible the first 5 or so uses. Proper toxic smells 🤢

Bought one of these a few months ago and have been using it every day since. Recommend also buying a digital thermometer for meats and parchment paper which makes cleaning is easy.

Also, you will get a weird plastic smell for the first few uses but it will go away. (edited)
    stamfordblue's avatar
Did you do the 20 minute "cook without any food in" for the first use?
Had to do that with my Instant air fryer, and didn't have any plastic smell after doing that.

Anyone had one of these longer than 5 mins/few months. Overall reliability..I know Costco policy but hassle going back etc due to location….Trusty 2011 model starting to show signs of wear 😁
    scotty6435's avatar
Been using mine 6 months, I don't know how long this model has been offered. Other than the bottom tray being hard to clean it's excellent

I got this for £50 in-store around Xmas, worth every penny.

    Buy once buy ninja.

I’ve found this one far better than the ninja but only based on a like for like comparison with my mums one maybe the newer ninja ones are better

Been using ours for the last few months and it's wonderful. Excellent air fryer for the price.

Good price for a 6.7L air fryer, when you consider how much the overpriced Ninjas are.

Just returned mine to Costco as it stopped working after a few uses. Was really good when it worked and costco were happy to take it back for a full refund. At the time there weren't any in stock otherwise would have bought a replacement as assumed we just got a dud one.

Same here, only had ours since December and it shortly started showing an E1 error.

Returned it today and will be looking at different brands instead!

have this at our caravan and its excellent couldnt justify ninja price for the limited use it gets but well worth 50 quid

Love mine, barely use the over now but that tray is impossible to clean

Got a ninja - crazy how little we use the oven now. I wonder if we're seeing a seachange and we're going to have like ovens replaced by a 'gaggle of air friers' like a microwave in a kitchen unit.

Had one of these a couple of years. It's been great but the display is starting to fail now and not all lighting up.

Should have added, time to buy a new one. (edited)

For anyone who has just a online membership for Costco they have took the restriction off for 2 per customer now I originally brought 2 few months ago so it wouldn’t let me buy anymore but now just ordered another for my daughter
  24. rizvig81's avatar
I've bought ninja few years ago now shows error. They all same after regular use it shows error I've checked reviews on different brands websites

Good air fryer got mine last year delivered for about £55. Hopefully they're starting to come down in price now a bit and the price of Ninja air fryers will come down from the clouds too!!!

Great oven, cook anything you can do in a larger convection oven, size permitting, in about half the time.
  27. FAMILYGUY's avatar
Buy one, you won't regret it. We have made anything from crispy chicken, chicken wings, pizza, Krispy Kreme style donuts.
Big enough for 3/4 people with upper tray (edited)

Mine was brilliant for the 8 months it worked. Used 3-4 times a week, then just packed in.

I have one and its amazing. Works really well and does all the same things my friends one does for nearly 1/3 the price with Costco's added endless hassle free warrenty

They must be good and popular as they are limited at max 2 per person. They get new stock all the time in stores, and sell out super fast so this is worth ordering online to insure you can get one. Highly recommend!

You won’t regret buying this small appliance. It’s a must for any kitchen. Air fry’s a whole chicken quicker then a traditional gas oven.

Thanks for the post; it reminded me to return mine for a refund tomorrow. Quality control seems to have fallen asleep recently; this is the 3rd one this week (one delivered, box all ripped due to an idiot courier, the replacement I got in store couldn't close the drawer, and this one, the panel is not working). Had purchased as a gift as ours is running fine.

What is the best tray (ceramic / glass / disposable that people have found for this...that utilises most of the space?
