I preferred Rock Band to Guitar Hero, BTW. (Xbox 360)
Someones been on the moon for a while
Additional songs are provided through GHTV. Two hundred songs were playable on GHTV at launch, and the developers plan on adding new songs to GHTV on a regular basis.[28] There is no backwards compatibility with songs or controllers from previous editions of the franchise; FreeStyleGames' developer Jamie Jackson justified the decision, explaining that Guitar Hero Live was a "completely new game" that existing content would not work with due to the change in core gameplay.[2] There is not any traditional downloadable content for the game in the form of additional songs, instead using the streaming nature of GHTV to provide new songs.[29] FreeStyleGames does not expect to make GHTV content available for offline play.[30]
In addition to regular content, GHTV has been used to provide speciality programming. The service has included a block of videos hosted by Avenged Sevenfold to showcase their favorite songs offered by the service.[31] Def Leppard used GHTV to premiere their new music video for their single "Dangerous" in January 2016

There is yes.
The amount of times I've came on this site and seen this get cheaper and cheaper since I paid 79.99 is unreal

I bought it a few days ago from Game at £42.. And I feel ripped off, less than half what you paid has gotta sting a little..
Then give yourself something new to learn and master, whats the point of getting rockband if you can smash that easily on expert. The whole point of guitar hero for me was getting better at it
New controller does not work with the old games. Completely different system of play.
I feel your pain - I did exactly the same thing. Damn hubby wanting it for Xmas - told him to wait
"a while" yet it was in stock the day before you posted this comment.
there's no dlc and there are about say 50 tracks in game with probably about another 50 added through gh live. I'm actually really enjoying it now but no practice mode, what the hell Activision?
Only gripe i'm having right now is trying to distinguish the lower and upper buttons when they are highlighted blue for accumulating or using star power.
Hard enough differentiating the upper and lower button icons at speed on screen as it is but when they're all blue....
Other than that, it's a lot of game and gear for not a lot of £££ in fairness
That's what I'm wondering too.
Of course, eventually. But it could be tomorrow, could be in months. Every deal on HUKD could get cheaper.

The only downfall I found so far playing it(around 2 weeks) is the matchmaking system. Since there are numerous improvements you can install on your "guitar" and different types of hero powers, I find the matchmaking quite unfair more often then I'd like to. Most of the time there is at least one or two other players, which are higher level, have more boosts and..as expected..make more points. This way your chances of being in the top 3 become very slim even if you do great performance (97%+) ..
Also incorrect details from shopto.....

No wonder it's being reduced in price, clearly not selling well
showing as much more than £30 for me on amazon, where did you find it for that price?
Assuming everybody has a prime membership and lives in a prime now area?
£30? Huh?
Sorry, using the TRYITNOW code knocks £10 off
Throwing the options out there, it's just been released in a few more areas this week.
I wouldn't say definitely, at some point games stop getting price reductions and then eventually go out of stock at most retailers which usually bumps the price back up. I seem to remember waiting on GH3 to get cheaper and then it suddenly stopped being available other than second hand.
Oh it stings alright!
Bought for £40 on Amazon last night
Yes it is.
