I have the older version of these (hot wheels purchased realFX) and it is surprisingly good
The track is OK and handy for using one car as computer/AI driven but the cars can also be used in free-roam - basically its 2x remote control cars that can be used on a track. The advantage on the track is it will keep them within the guidelines for better racing. I would be annoyed if I paid over £100 but it’s good value at this price

Anything that has a sale based on RRP isn't a sale for me... That said, I do love scalextric though!

Ugh, get "Scalextric" out of title. Misleading.

Read the reviews first. I was ready to buy until I read how poor the construction of the track is.

Same price, I nearly bought it, but the track is HUGE so decided against it (edited)

We got the predecessor last year real fx racing. It’s really good but my son wasn’t interested

Just picked one and it's going back when I've finished writing this on the toilet

This is just the Real FX Racing set. I think they sold all the rights to HotWheels and you can kind of mix and match stuff.

I think it is so clever but hard to keep kids interest unless you get it all out for them.

Yeah same here. Can't see the track lasting too long with my kids!

It’s a plastic coated track, to be fair the review seem decent they don’t complain of track issues. I was tempted myself seeing this in smiths but my nephew is 3 so it seems a little to advanced. ( of course I secretly fancied it for myself ) 😬

We bought this for our son for xmas a few weeks ago at B&M for £39.99. Reviews seems good. Was it really over £100 before?!

If this is a re-box of the Real FX racing then we bought this for my 5 year old a couple of years ago for christmas. It is a massive track, however that's the only downside to it for me. If you have the space, then go for it. It sets up pretty quickly and there's a number of settings for younger children such as the ability to just control the speed of the car and the car steers itself around the track. My son is now 7 and still enjoys playing on it.

Agreed...I enjoy it way more than my 6 year old does

Honestly , it has 4 skill settings, even a dre drive mode.
Also the cars double up as radio control cars so my kids make there own circuits.mario kart skins also come with a sound card for mario sound fx
Track as it's card is cheap and you can easily replace or add for extra track options.
We love it in my house.
