Not worth the money and not a particularly good deal.

Microphone doesn't have any sot of dedicated support to support it. For this money, despite my comments in the past about Blue, I would recommend getting the Blue Yeti Nano since it is supported by software that is very beneficial to have. You'll get a lot more value in the Blue microphone than- you would this.

This is also an unnecessarily tall microphone especially since it's a condenser, so it's obtrusive to people who
    1. play games (which this is who it's aimed for - gamers), depending on the positioning could be obstructing your view of your screen.
    2. streamers (the microphone, depending on the usage, could be in the way of their camera)

The microphone quality is pretty mid-tier but doesn't have VST or dedicated support for effects which makes this not a good deal to have.

The microphone has been sold at £55 at times, which is why I claim it to be a bad deal. Would help to have a time machine but even at £55 it's not particularly good value.

You seem to know a bit about this subject. Can I ask for your advice? I was about to buy a Behringer XM8500 for £26 to record a bit of acoustic guitar, and also hoping to improve audio on my work Teams calls.

Any better ideas without doubling or trebling my budget????

Thanks a lot for any advice.

I have this, the led light is too strong and there's no way to dim it/turn it off/ change the colour. As others said, there's no software to control it. I use a steel arm to place it in a better position and it's annoying that way as well. Mic quality idk, never compared it to anything else.

    Get something else.

Not great really, you'll get better sound quality from the Razer Seiren Mini (and I don't like Razer so it pains me to say that, lol).

Either save money and get the Seiren mini or spend a bit more to get the RØDE NT-USB Mini. (edited)

Had the seiren mini and thought it was awful then had wave3 from elgato which was fine then they updated the software and was just awful, plus the mixer had so many issues and still does (edited)

I note this is aimed at streamers, content creators and gamers. Would it also be suitable for jokers, smokers or midnight tokers?

For this price, I got myself a cheap boom arm + pop filter, an SM57 XLR mic clone (that sounds just as good), and a USB audio interface. It sounds great and the boom arm does the job.

But it doesn't have RGB so gamers beware!

Which clone did you go for? I've been recommended a Behringer XM8500.

    Also, any boom arm suggestions?
