Flipping heck. I just bought the IPHONE 11 for £199.00 in "GOOD CONDITION".

However when delivered it was in excellent condition. Just some scuff marks on the corner.

Giff Gaff are they clearing their stock !

    What was the battery like?

Agree with you. I got my order delivered (Pro max 256gb blue). Not at all happy with the condition of the phone. Im sending it back too...

Brought one and then started reading the comments - can’t lie was a little anxious as I brought it for my daughter - anyway it arrived today (256gb blue) - I sneaked off and opened it - ready to expect either a pristine phone or one that has literally fallen off the back of a lorry - well I opened it and studied this bad boy - not a mark on it - so thought the battery must be shot - again 100% - smooth screen no alien parts and accepts the sim - gotta say this is amazing and a very happy daughter

Perfect timing - my lad ruined his iPhone 11 on holiday in the pool.

He''ll get my 11 Pro Max and I've just nabbed one of these.

Ordered a 256gb 12 Pro Max in blue, graded good, yesterday and it's just turned up.

Can't see a mark on it anywhere and the battery health is 100%. It sounds like I've been very lucky, which I'm happy to take!

    That's a result!

Cheers! Only £20 more for 256Gb, no brainer. (edited)

    Thank you

Got mine today (Pro max 256gb blue) also, phone screen and case in immaculate condition but battery not brilliant at 86% but was expecting that from a 2/2.5 year old iphone 12. My old XR is running at 92% but I know my daughters 12 pro is also down in to about 88%. In conclusion happy enough.
Just the luck of the draw I guess.

How are they refurbished if the batteries are at 80% they mean second hand
    greenant's avatar
“Refurbished” means a school dropout rubbed it with their sleeve and then packaged it up. “Refurbished” only really means that if it's from Apple (i.e. “manufacturer refurbished” if you're searching on ebay).

Purchased a 128gb graphite iphone 12 pro max yesterday evening in "good" condition. Arrived today and can't see a single mark on the phone and battery is at 93% health so overall very pleased!

Also got my 256gb today, not a mark on it and 100% battery. I couldn’t decide on blue or graphite but refreshed last night and 1 graphite had come back into stock. Blue and gold keep going in/out of stock so if you missed out try again later. Also TopCashback have £30 cash back and I went through my workplace site which gave £40… I was worried the max would be too big so will have to see how it goes!

Bought 2 yesterday with a view to keeping the best one. A silver 128Gb and a blue 256gb. Both pristine and not a mark. Both also with 100% battery health
Think I've been lucky. Thanks OP

After all the comments decided to take another chance and place a second order, worth it if you get a decent body and near 100% battery
  13. Andre_Darabi's avatar
I purchased a 256 model - good - last night and it arrived this afternoon, fast delivery and it's like a brand new! Battery health at 100 %
I was so pleased after opening the box. Felt lucky

Received my order today and the best way to describe the condition would be dropped down the stairs without a case on , definitely going back as it even has chips out of the screen and battery at 83%

Cannot understand why anybody would pay £430 for somebody else’s junk when you could buy a brand new pixel 7 for £70 more. (edited)
    mick.thorpe's avatar
Because they presumably want an iPhone, a pixel is not one of those so they buy something that is one of those.

Sorry for being snarky but really?

Also, if these differences don’t matter to you why were you buying an iPhone when you could get a brand new pixel for £70 more? (edited)

Is it possible to pay monthly and cancel the goodybag?
Or I need to pay in full to be able to cancel?

What’s grading like as good is at the bottom of the list

Any difference between 12 pro max and 13 pro max as I was holding out for another 13 pro max deal coming along
    darrensk's avatar
Has to be 120hz screen scrolling is so smooth and not jerky which used to give eye strain. (edited)

Bought 2 pro maxes in 256gb yesterday. One in silver one in gold. Silver one has a lot micro scratches all over the bezel and a couple of deeper groves on the screen. Only 81% battery health.
On the other had gold one is in pristine condition. No scratches whatsoever. Battery is at 100% too. Not sure how they grade.
Luck of the draw I guess.

Seems to be hit and miss - I ordered a silver and blue 256gb ‘good’ both covered in scratches, some very deep on screen and rear camera lens - back they go…
  22. lxx's avatar
Thanks OP, bought one. Shame 256GB ones are OOS.

I receive my 256GB this morning. I would call my good one, extremally good. I could not find a mark on it and 90% battery.
I was happy with the phone, until I found its saying camera is unknown part. (edited)
    lxx's avatar
Did you return it? How did you know the camera is an unknown part?
  24. divemaster123's avatar
My iphone is saying that there is an unknown part and that the camera may not be a genuine apple part. Is this a problem with the camera having the same specs as original camera ? (edited)

I spoke too soon. Having set it up and put my EE sim in, I don’t get any signal. Says ‘phone not allowed’ in settings. I did a checkmend search on IMEI and it shows as blocked/stolen. Do giffgaff not check such things? Do they willingly sell dodgy phones?
re message above - I wouldn’t expect any non-genuine apple parts on a refurb, which it suggests you have. It looks like giffgaff don’t check what they sell, which is really poor of them.
    lxx's avatar
Oh no, that's shocking! Guess you have to return it.

I bit and bought the 128gb model in good condition. Arrived within 24hrs. Battery 99%!! And condition excellent tbh. Great deal I think
  27. nazx's avatar
Do they regularly come back in stock - i want a 256GB
  28. lxx's avatar
Received 128GB today, small scratches all over the edges and 87% battery, not sure if I should return it.
    Craig_ward's avatar
I received my second unit today and better than the first but lost of scratches on the screen and 83% battery , not sure what to do as you are looking at an additional £70 straight away for a new battery then you start to get in 13 pro territory prices.

Currently have an 11 with 100% battery and no marks so kind of tempted to just stick with it for now until the 15 (edited)

Received 128GB today, very bad condition, it’s not even in acceptable condition - returning it

Giffgaff finally removed the IMEI lock! The agent service is very good and they respond quickly. I must have got lucky, bought the cheapest ‘good’ and phone doesn’t have a single mark on it, it’s looks brand new. Just checked the battery on coconut and it must have been replaced, 100% with 2 cycles (I’ve charged it twice).
must be pot luck as to what you get!

Hi- I’ve just bought same phone from giffgaff and same issue (EE but saying phone not allowed) it’s showing as not locked to network. I’ve messaged Giffgaff and awaiting there reply but was this sorted fairly easily?
