Well done Apple, you made a worse Samsung. For more money. And were brave enough to remove the finger print sensor as well as the headphone jack. I predict a few years time Apple will sell you a glass block that has no function at all as they have bravely removed the features and charge you £2000 for the privilege.

Cold, can buy a moped for this money, and in London that appears to be a sure fire way to own lots of mobiles.

This is silly money. It's beyond a joke because you never get deals on iPhones. You can already pick a Samsung note for under £700 before release and the prices soon come down. The note is in my view better looking. I'm typing this on an iPhone 7. voted hot for being brave.

Sold the iPhone 6 plus and bought the Lenovo P2, a great phone.... And only £199.

What a lot of people in this thread don't realise is that there are now far more wealthier people in this country then there was 15-20 years ago. £999 on an iPhone X is equivalent to £300 to some people.

There reason why we have far more premium headphones, mobile phones and other luxury household goods is because of wealth. Loads of folks earn obscene money and they need to spend that money somehow, it won't be on Moto G5.

I work in a luxury hotel and most days I make between £40-80 just on tips, people pay silly money just to bring their clothes from the store next door. London and some of the other cities are truly the land of wealth and opportunity.

Apple has a cash reserve of $250 billion and it will continue to grow.

besides, why pay that much to get a so called full screen phone. I am thinking maybe change to Android. Like this one. Xiaomi MIX 2.

The "sheeple" are obviously not aware that the "i" in i-Phone stands for idiot.

To the people that are almost taking offence at the price point of this device; you're completely missing the point. The iPhone X was all about making a statement. It didn't need to be priced competitively, nor does it really matter if nobody buys one. It's the 10th anniversary edition, and consequently they've gone all out. What you think has no importance, and you can criticise the people buying them all you like, but you have to admit it is amazing how a company can create such a following and culture in society... I mean, you're all on here, as people who dislike Apple, spending your valuable time talking about them.
