Anyone compared these (10 year warranty) to the ones available in LIDL this week (3 year warranty) ? (edited)

The Warranty is a bit of a red herring as it doesn't cover any damage caused in transit! We bought an IT luggage suitcase and a Tripp suitcase this year. Both similar price and size. The IT suitcase didn't survive the airport well at all and got a huge dent in it smashing the contents inside. This was not impressive for a hard suitcase. I won't buy the brand again. I can't comment on Lidl, but the Tripp one was fine

Depending how strict they are at the airport, this looks a touch too wide (depth) for Ryanair priority cabin case size (55cm x 40cm x 20cm)

i brought the smallest one late may 2023 for spain holiday, considering it was Matalan it was ok for the money i travelled with easyJet and this fitted the cabin luggage sizes ,i did try and cram in too much luggage and dented the top but still good for the money i would get another one

We both have IT large wheeled cases one of which came from Matalan and the other from TK Maxx. They are the soft sided expandable type rather than hard shell. They have lasted very well and should last a good number of years yet. (edited)

I used IT luggage once. Purchased a hard case from Argos. Used it once. Wheels worn down after one local London to Manchester trip. Contacted them about it and never heard back.

I’ll never ever buy anything by IT luggage. Cold from me. Very, very, very cold.

Those wheel positions dont look good,if they dont get snapped off when being loaded or unloaded into/ out of the Hold or just collapse outwards i would be surprised.10 year warranty or not it's no good when you have a heavy suitcase to then lug around. Personally i would keep a lookout for a older suitcase with wheels from Gumtree / Marketplace or even a local charity shop.

I had a large IT suitcase that lost a wheel during a flight. When I collected it at the destination airport I didn't initially notice that it had lost one (as there are 4 sets of 2 wheels) and although possible to wheel around, it was more difficult than it was/should have been on flat surfaces. It got far more difficult to wheel it around smoothly on inclines or change of terrain/non-smooth surfaces. I only noticed after leaving the airport and therefore couldn't/didn't report it to the airline.

I did however try to get in touch with IT Luggage. 3 Emails/contact forms from their website, no response to any of them. No phone numbers in sight.

This happened on only the suitcase's second trip - 6 months after buying.

We therefore returned the luggage to the shop we bought it from and took a full refund.

I have another suitcase in my house that I have had for over 30 years, not even lost a wheel. The brand is Carlton and it's a hardcase. Can't see any similar looking ones of the same brand these days and can't vouch for how a newer one would be - but the one from the 30 years ago has been everywhere and it is as solid as a rock. Ordered and picked up today. Looks more of a lilac colour than grey, quality is pretty poor too.

I've got a few IT Luggage cases and they've all lasted well. The medium seems decent value at £40.

I used IT luggage just once- so no long term usage experience. But quality seems fine
