This is not a stove that you can cook on the top thereof.
So perhaps the title they used should have been "Kirkton House Electric HEATER".
I bought one similar (as a heater, not for cooking on!) and my wife (Ex wife, don't ask...) loves it.
Do not forget the exorbitant cost of electricity now though.
It might be cheaper to stare at a TV screen of a simulated log fire than this item with the electric bars on.
Although the TV option would not keep you so warm of course.
