Price has dipped again for this set to 299 euro. Would prefer to buy from Lego but at £75 off I can't resist.
I have bought from Amazon Europe once before and had no trouble with the Lego item packaging and condition, but I have heard of some getting battered boxes.

God I want this but I just don't have the room!

Ridiculous price

minifigs not to scale.

cold

I used to have one, but I left it on the far side of Endor for one night, and some tw*t smashed it up!

Is it a trap?

Have been waiting for a sub £300 price - dusted off my schoolboy French and have ordered

thanks for the heads up

heat added

Last time ordered one of these it arrived in thousands of pieces, probably the couriers fault but still, be warned people!

What piece of junk!

That's a good deal. However, I want to wait once they further lower the price.

Good job too, if they were the model would be about 60ft long....

If only I had the money, I'd be all over this like a tramp on chips!

A good investment, these large sets tend to go way up in value over time and people are willing to pay through the nose.

Set looks a bit boring though, still, heat for the find

Waited ages for this to drop in price, ordered one £274.64 delivered.

I'd love to try one of these huge type of lego sets (pretending it was for my daughter) but this is a bit... errm ..grey

Yeah, these can definitely be an investment especially if you can bring yourself to keep it sealed. I've got the previous one they did (set number 10030) and although I wouldn't sell it I've looked in ebay a few times out of curiosity and it often sells for a fair bit more than I paid, there was even one the other week without the instructions and that still went for a lot.

Having said that, they seem to have been selling this one for a long time so I'm not sure if they've produced it in bigger numbers or if its just hasn't sold well. 10030 was one of the first of these large sets they did so maybe they made less of them.

Really wish I'd got the Millennium Falcon (10179), I was so tempted at the time. Not only does it look awesome but there is currently one selling on ebay for over a grand!

Way out.... this is the Super Star Destroyer, which is supposedly 19km long. To be minifigure scale, the model would need to be about 1,200 feet long.

if I was a lottery winner i'd buy this to give me something different to do but as i am joe public, jesus christ that £275 on one lego set.

That is a bargain price. Just ordered it. Thanks.

I never thought I'd see a post that basically said "If I won the lottery, I'd buy some Lego".

Has the price changed ?

366 Euros = £315

Yes you missed the boat was 299 euro

Is this from a market seller? Doesn't seem like official amazon.

She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts.

This video shows the scale compared to the Death Star....

Well yes, it probably shows the intelligence of the average lottery ticket buyer....But it's OK, with odds of fourteen million to one
they won't have to make the decision anyway....

Good price reduction but still £275, can't get that passed the wife trying to say its for our 3 year old...

ARGH. the price has now returned to €359.99 how rude of amazon.fr

ARGH. the pirce has gone back up. its now €359.99 how rude of amazon.fr

Don't get cocky

Phewww.... Still trying to get over buying the Tower Bridge, R2D2 and Moduar Fire Station recently. Never thought I would pay just over 140 pounds for a Lego set (Tower Bridge).

Well it was a 'top of my head' guess. I didn't know the 'real' thing is 19km long!

Obviously this is NOT 19km long!
