What would be the best way to get windows installer on this DIY style?

Do a google search for Windows Media Creation Tool. It’s an official Microsoft tool, you will be able to download it from their website.
Run that on your existing machine and install it to a USB drive. Once that’s done, put the USB in this new laptop and turn it on, the USB is your Windows installer.
Since there is no current OS you will probably see a black screen with the text “press any key to boot from CD” or something along those line, just press any key and it should continue as your USB will be the only device it detects anything on. If it does not show this, you will need to go into boot options. You will probably see the key to press to access this menu if you keep an eye on the bottom left corner of the screen when you turn the laptop on, it will be one of the F keys on the keyboard. Once you’ve opened boot options, select your usb from the list of boot devices.
Then the windows installer will start, it’s mostly just clicking next through the screens and setting things like language preferences. Leave it to do it’s thing, it shouldn’t take longer than an hour to install on this laptop.
Once you are at the windows desktop you can unplug the USB. You can unplug it at an earlier stage, but if you aren’t familiar with this process it’s easier to just leave it in until the install is complete. (edited)

It's a zen3 chip, almost equivalent to the 6600h. Wish it had non soldered RAM, but ig 16 GB is enough for most people.

8 GB is enough for most people. All depends if you are running MS SQL server or any DB which requires more than 16 ram.

Tried to remove the SSD but instead of deducting £90 it adds up instead 😔

There isn't an option to remove the SSD!

    It was released Jan 2023

& the fact that its DDR5 would tell you it is a very new processor

You want to upgrade to the ryzen 7 (as it comes with the much better 680m) however, when configuring the actual laptop takes minimum of 4 weeks to ship (normallly 4-6 weeks according to Lenovo). Not 6-9 days as advertised. (edited)
