Just use a different email. If you have a gmail account you can put a full stop in the username and Lenovo will treat it as a new email and send a code but it will still reach your normal gmail. You can get numerous codes this way with one email.

It takes about 30 mins to come through normally.

You get the 10% discount first, and then the cashback based on that purchase price.

    So for me is was £1199 - 10% =£1079.99. I'll next claim £200 cashback. Total price £879.99

After using the 32GB dual ranked crucial kit I’m never going back.

Pro tip for anyone wanting better thermals, go into bios and change the thermal management to level 2.

Without doing this I would continually hit 101c on BFV. Yes it’s safe, it was still hitting max clocks too, but that game send almost 80W of power to the CPU and pegs it at 100%. Changing the settings to level 2 allowed me to continue with everything on performance mode, factory GPU overclock (which hits 2100mhz), and only go to 87c on the CPU.

For some reason Lenovo would rather have most users sitting at over 100c in CPU intensive situations.

Average 140fps in Warzone even in intensive fights/areas. With the stock 8GB RAM it was less than half of that with hangs and stutters everywhere.

Destiny 2 went from 70fps and stutters to 110fps and smooooooth.

Dont think that’s unusual for a 32gb kit.

Agreed. The banner came back later after not being on that model. I then criss checked the offer and saw it then so ordered.

32GB RAN upgrade is an interesting one. Single rank vs dual. Cost and stock issues also challenging.

I believe I’ve got one with the bigger battery so no 2.5” drive option but a second M2 is possible?

Would a £600 desktop be better? Don't really need the portability of a laptop, but if you can get similar power for a bit more money it might be worth it.

A 600 quid desktop won't be very good ATM with current GPU prices not to mention unless you're building it yourself, you'll be getting a very low spec machine for that price

Just installed the second drive and the second m.2 cover has a thermal pad. It seems to run cooler, but this may be the drive, and is slightly faster in some cases.

Seems a better idea to get that considering I'll be hooked up to a 1440p monitor most of the time. Anyone know best way to contact to cancel so I can re-order? Will try the phone number and live chat in the morning & try not to panic too much (I'm autistic and phone calls can be "fun" for me!)

I think the performance difference is a lot less than expected between the two(if you are getting the 130w TGP legion5)
There are a tonne of tests/comparisons on YT

Avg its only 10% faster which is shocking really
Mod: in 1440p the difference is probably a bit more, i'd say around 15-20% tops (edited)

The customer services people said normally within a day of ordering it is possible to cancel before dispatch but that if it arrives to reject delivery and that I would receive a refund following doing this.

The 3070 model also has 16GB ram (will probably replace eventually with 32GB dual rank) which means I won't need to order any RAM right away as I would have done if I got the 8GB 3060 model (I often have a lot of browser tabs & windows open and do some hi-res photo editing!) (edited)
