This is a good deal, glad someone has posted it.

It is a little more than the L380 posted earlier that's now OOS but a higher quality machine, the L series are mid-range, the X series are premium ultraportables - for that extra you get a full 2-in-1 folding/convertible but the downside is the RAM is fixed (unlike the L380). However, for under £200, if 8GB RAM is enough, this is a bargain laptop that will handle most workloads.

Ah, amazing deal, and if I'd seen this first I'd have taken it over the itzoo deal...

I'm guessing that if I bought this I couldn't just swap the SSD drives around, having set up the itzoo one exactly how I wanted....

They're close enough swapping the drives will work fine, it'll just need to windows update/lenovo vantage the touchscreen drivers.

I managed to pick up one of these locally (same model, but i7 CPU, 8GB ram and 512gb M.2) for £100 and am blown away by the quality of the device for the money.

It feels like a robust machine with a metal finish. It comes with the inclusion of some really nice QOL features like:

    - Touch screen
    - Full 360 degree hinge
    - In-built smart card reader
    - Wacom stylus with left and right click
    - Charges over USB C as well as the bespoke charger
    - Has Backlit keys
    - Micro SD expansion slot
    - 4G sim slot for wireless
    - Thunderbolt port
    - Fingerprint reader
    - Supports Windows 11 out of the box!

It might not be all singing and dancing in the graphics department, but I've put it through its paces. Certainly for light browsing, word processing or work, this machine is going to be a 10/10.

I only have 3 small complaints so far (and they are mostly negligible):
    - The speaker on the device is shocking compared to other similar specced devices
    - I don't like that Lenovo has swapped around the placement of the function and the control key. This keeps throwing me off!
    - The big one - Why oh why is the ram soldered on to the main board?!? With a quick replacement of the battery, this laptop would have been fit for purpose for 6 years+. I wish I could have upgraded the ram to 16GB/32GB!! I understand that companies want this all-in-one approach on the main board (Thanks Apple) but it's really wasteful. It's contributing to E-waste and reducing the potential lifespan of devices. It would be near perfect if you could upgrade the ram.

Maybe I just haven't replaced my laptop in a while but even at £180ish quid shown here for those specs, I think it's a very competent piece of kit.

Apologies to gush, but if you see this on offer again I would highly recommend for anyone on the fence (edited)

Can someone recommend a slightly newer 2 in 1 laptop. With intel 10th gen CPU

Most the 10th gen are only a fraction better than 8th with the mobile CPU's, you need 11th and above for decent improvements. My work Yoga X13 has a 10510U and it benches like 10% quicker.
