Meet the UHD 4K HDR Monitor

This monitor is compatible with HDR10 to represent details in bright and dark parts of high dynamic range contents.

True Colours and Wider View

LG IPS display has extraordinary colour accuracy, covering 98% of the sRGB colour spectrum. It also has a wider viewing angle, so it's even easier to enjoy true colour visuals.

Colour Calibrated

It is Colour Calibrated to help maintain accurate colour on the screen and prevent gradual changes, so it preserves the original intend colour.

Clearer, Smoother Image

Radeon FreeSync™ reduces the tearing and stuttering that occur between a graphic card's frame rate and a monitor's refresh rate enabling smoother motion and less stuttering in demanding games.

Customized Modes for Any Game

Users can choose FPS or RTS mode, and customize. The settings can be adjusted and optimized for any type of game.

Dynamic Action Sync

Minimize input lag with Dynamic Action Sync so gamers can catch every single moment in real-time.

Black Stabilizer

LG's Black Stabilizer helps make dark scenes bright so it's easier to find the competition.

Easier User Interface

OnScreen Control is simple and intuitive. You can customize your display options with a few simple clicks.

Versatile Elegance

The curved base enhances stability for dependable performance. The base can be adjusted to change the tilt, height and angle of the monitor for comfortable viewing experience. Also, this monitor can be hung on the wall.

this is already in description?
What's ebuyer's return policy like, in case of any issues? I've read it on site, but does anyone have any experience? I.e. Can I open and test it and if any issues such as G-sync not working with all games, can it be sent back without too much grief?

They are not great with returns, they are no ‘Amazon’ that’s for sure!

Cheers, that's what I was really asking! Amazon seem to be no questions
Not sure about the 'HDR' benefit...
What is the difference between this and the 600 model available at Amazon for £250?
If this was 144hz 1ms it would be perfect

Nothing wrong with the 500 series bezel, its preferable to some people, including me.

500 Series has a traditional bezel
600 Series has a "Fake Bezel" frameless design

The 500 series will have better perceived blacks and the coating will be the LCD panel coating.

The 600 series has a plastic coating stuck over the LCD panel which may look more modern but has worse perceived blacks, possibly more grainy and easier to scratch.

The 50 on all LG series means a height adjustable stand, the 00 models have a fixed height stand with less adjustments and no swivel.

They cranked the backlight up on the 600 series but although brighter it has a lower contrast ratio than the 500 series.

Hi RustySpoons,

To me, contrast ratio is pretty much the same. No difference at all ( please, have a look at above image )

That's just a spec sheet, these don't go over 1000:1 totally different when tested in the real world.
The previous UK series were better.
Hi agains RustySpoons,

Have you tested the LG 27UL500 in the real world? can you vouch that the contrast ratio is better than the 600 model??
Got mine through today and it's actually better than I thought it would be. Played Division 2 at 2560x1440 and it looked native, I couldn't tell it was upscaled/downscaled whatever it's called and with freesync on there was zero stutter off a 1070 on ultra. No backlight bleed, no dodgy pixels, wonderful picture, and the bezels are really small, considering the next model up is 'bezel less' this is good enough. All in all, totally worth the price.
