Yes.
I worked there for a number of years wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole could write a book do not buy unless you want to deal directly with LG
Nothing wrong with the 500 series bezel, its preferable to some people, including me.
500 Series has a traditional bezel
600 Series has a "Fake Bezel" frameless design
The 500 series will have better perceived blacks and the coating will be the LCD panel coating.
The 600 series has a plastic coating stuck over the LCD panel which may look more modern but has worse perceived blacks, possibly more grainy and easier to scratch.
The 50 on all LG series means a height adjustable stand, the 00 models have a fixed height stand with less adjustments and no swivel.
Cheers, that's what I was really asking! Amazon seem to be no questions
The 500 series has a 300nits brightness 600 series has 350nits.

They cranked the backlight up on the 600 series but although brighter it has a lower contrast ratio than the 500 series.
Hi RustySpoons,
To me, contrast ratio is pretty much the same. No difference at all ( please, have a look at above image )
That's just a spec sheet, these don't go over 1000:1 totally different when tested in the real world.
The previous UK series were better.
Have you tested the LG 27UL500 in the real world? can you vouch that the contrast ratio is better than the 600 model??
