Decent price for a G series LG oled with a 5 year warranty

Ultra-slim Gallery design with built-in wall bracket
At just 23.1mm thick, this OLED TV looks stunning. The sleek ‘Gallery’ design takes pride of place in your room without dominating it. To make the most of those slim good looks, the OLED55G16LA comes with a built-in, flush-fitting wall bracket. This not only saves you the cost of buying a wall bracket, it also means that you get a bracket that’s dedicated to this specific model, meaning it fits absolutely flat to the wall.

Optional table stand
If you prefer to mount your TV on a table, optional feet are available as an extra cost option. The slimline feet complement the ‘Gallery’ style. Click here to see matching stand.

LG’s powerful new processor - Alpha 9 Gen 4
Capable of automatically detecting and optimising the content you’re watching, LG’s powerful Alpha 9 Gen 4 processor is at the heart of making this TV a spectacular performer. Using AI technology, the picture and sound are optimised to best suit the genre – be it movies, sport, gaming or regular TV. The processor on this 55 inch LG TV also drives the brilliant AI Picture Pro and AI Sound Pro.

AI Picture/Sound Pro for professional sound and vision
Using a huge database of over one million visual date points, AI Picture Pro uses deep-learning algorithms to recognise content, remove noise and optimise the picture. AI Sound Pro leans from more than 17 million audio data points, identifying voices, effects and frequencies. From here, it optimises the sound by genre, giving a more natural sound quality.

Ultimate detail - Dolby Vision IQ
For ultimate detail, in all environments, this LG OLED features Dolby Vision IQ. Dolby Vision IQ version uses data within the signal and light sensors inside the TV to adjust the picture quality for the best contrast. This improves the picture’s brightness, without ‘washing out’ the depth. You get a consistent picture quality, however light or dark your room is. Whether you’re watching a brightly lit sports event or moody movie, Dolby Vision IQ adjusts to suit.

HDR made better, with HDR10 Pro
LG’s powerful processing also helps in getting the very best from HDR10 material. Whether watching movies or gaming with HDR10 games, HDR10 Pro intensifies the regular HDR experience. HDR10 Pro automatically adjusts the brightness, enhancing colour and detail for a more vivid picture.

See the picture exactly as originally intended, with Filmmaker Mode
If you’re mad about movies, you’ll love Filmmaker Mode. Designed in collaboration with filmmakers and Hollywood studios, Filmmaker Mode lets you experience the cinematic vision, exactly as the director intended. Overriding the TV’s own motion and picture processing, Filmmaker Mode presents the correct aspect ratio, colour and frame rate – just as the filmmakers intended.

Game Optimiser with HFR, VRR and ALLM for a gaming advantage
Game Optimiser utilises a dedicated gaming menu, letting you select and control specific gaming features, such as Reduce Blue Light, Prevent Input Delay, VRR and AMD FreeSync. Equipped with a full HDMI 2.1 interface (all four sockets), this LG TV gets the very best from your choice of gaming source. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) mean that your TV automatically adjusts to the optimised settings for gaming – giving you a smoother and faster response.

4.2 speaker system, AI Sound Pro and Dolby Atmos compatible sound
Featuring a built-in, 4.2 speaker system, the OLED55G16LA offers a more immersive sound than the lower models. Power is also up 50% to 60 watts – giving a rich, room-filling sound. Using AI algorithms, AI Sound Pro up-mixes two-channel audio to virtual 5.1 sound – giving a much more immersive sound and enhanced dialogue. With a Dolby Atmos processor built-in this LG 55” TV decodes Atmos sound tracks - giving you the potential for an even more enveloping sound.

Welcome home - LG webOS 6 for the best in smart TV
Widely regarded as one of the best smart TV platforms, LG’s webOS system just keeps getting better. The latest webOS 6 uses your viewing history to recommend a range of shows and movies from across various apps. An improved home page offers improved graphics, with dedicated info and search boxes.

Magic Remote made better
LG’s Magic Remote has always led the field for simple, gesture and voice control. The latest version retains this, while offering direct keys for popular streaming services and a new, cleaner style. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney + and Rakuten TV are all now just the touch of a button away. Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa also get dedicated buttons for simply voice recognition.

The hub of your home entertainment
Featuring LG’s ThinQ AI technology, you can control a Home IoT ecosystem with natural voice recognition. With both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in, it makes it even easier to control your LG OLED TV and quickly access the entertainment you’re looking for.

Discover a whole new level of picture quality and TV style, with the LG 55OLEDG16LA.

I’m guessing I can still attach this to my current vesa wall mount and not use the one that pre-installed?

I have the g2 and I used my own mount instead of the lg one so I assume you can do the same on this.

Is this Hills Radio a legit site? It is it one of those companies Hotukdeals ‘promoting’ and getting commissions for site traffic?

I posted it and I don't work for HUKD, no affiliate link when you click through get deal either. Normal checks anyone could do, click their Trustpilot rating on their website, do a google maps search using their address

and if you're still not certain give them a ring in the morning......

I have the 65” and worth it. Hid the cables in the wall. Easy to mount and install as you can see the mount from my pics.

I have this TV, people comment on how flush it is to the wall. Looks like a picture frame. Great TV for this price

For the picture mode and looking like a framed photo, did you compare to Samsung Frame? I am considering saving loads and getting this

Is this even worth it over the C1?

The C2 uses this panel, as is designed to be wall mount only. It's ultra thin. If you need a bit more brightness, are going to wall mount, care about how it looks against the wall and wouldn't mind spending a couple hundred extra, I'd day it's worth it.

Bought a 65 inch G1 from box clearance last week for 899. States Grades B but its was more like an open box. Slightly Warped screen though but wont notice it if you not looking for it.

this is an amazing TV but COLD because of who is selling it. There is something dodgy going on for sure. Follow MSE advice and neve use a debit card, bank transfer or paypal if you are unsure of the trader. Use a 3rd party credit card (AMEX/VISA/MASTERCARD). (edited)
