    These films are just fine as long as you put them on WET !
    Get a mister bottle and add a couple of drops of washing up liquid.
    Clean the glass, and mist it with the water, peel off the backing and it'll slide on the glass... Then squeegee out the water and any air bubbles.... Wait until it's dry (overnight) and trim to size with a sharp knife.
    I have cheap film on my doors and bathroom windows.... Been up for years.

    Mine have been up for years too, they still look great. Taking the time to put them on properly is key

    Professional window film installer here, This sort of stuff is terrible. You're best off staying clear of static cling films all together if you want something to last. (edited)

    I didn't know there were professionals who did that. Do you have any brand that you recommend? I installed reflective films on my living room windows last year, and although I hated doing it, the result is really good. (edited)
