sorted by- Great for gaming and VS 5.1 is pretty good (mostly playing warzone)
- Not that good for movies as lacks bass, saying that....I only tried couple of times when I bought them.
Note: many people report low volume issue due to software update to G Hub, somehow it reduces volume when you switch off VS (no issues with VS enabled), old (previous) generation software does not have this issue. That's in my experience.
I believe in order to resolve it you have to enable VS and volume down all surround features until it's stereo only. And yes, movie experience/ youtube isn't great when VS is enabled.

Personally, I use these Advanced EQ settings that I found on Reddit (even though the OP was actually using G933 instead), but I'm sure you can find other recommendations on there or make your own adjustments to find what works for you if you don't think it sounds good enough.
Haven't actually tried using the microphone in all that time, so can't comment on that part.
If you find yourself needing some replacement earpads like I did earlier this year, then I definitely recommend these Geekria QuickFit Mesh ones. (edited)
Headphones are decent haven't had any issues with them.
The Microphone is terrible, I had to use 3rd party software to get the volume up to a hearable level.
