Can this make a room feel warmer
    martynhardacre's avatar
Absolutely. We have had this model for a couple of years. It's not a desiccant model (they have a heated element in them) but taking the moisture out of the air means the dry air that's recirculated is warmed. It easily adds a couple of degrees to the room temp (edited)

Good price, but I imagine you dont get the 5 year warranty that meaco offer?

Why wouldn’t you? It’s via Hughes Electrical.

    Item detail states 5 years.

Have the 20L one. Can not praise it enough. Dries clothes within 6 hours which is brilliant when you can't air your clothes outside.

We love ours too but have never been able to take advantage of the laundry mode. Any tips? Cheers

£170 on official website with 6% cashback, but this deal is a slightly better value, so vote it hot.

I'm looking for dehumidifier to put in our house to get rid of condensation on the windows in the winter time but not sure for which one I should go and would be a 12l powerful enough.

    Any advice would be appreciated

We've got the 20L version and it's been an excellent buy. Scary how much water it collects.
We had a lot of condensation and mould and it really helped eliminate it.

Savings not as good as it seems sadly as the initial price is inflated more than the rrp to begin with. John Lewis is at £179.99

How do I know if 12l is enough? Would the 20l be better for a 3 bedroom home?
    coffeehair's avatar
I'd get the 20 personally. Probreeze equivalents are cheaper by the way.
