This is the ad-free version. Enjoy the classic look and feel of the game as you work to mark the mines without uncovering one. You use the numbers of a revealed square to tell you how many mines are next to that square. Using logic, you figure out where the mines are and mark them. Watch out! If you make a mistake, a mine will explode!

The app features a clean interface and the minefield fits to your screen size.

There are three themes available: Classic, Light, and Dark.

Just warning. Not on the freebiw but a quick look shows this Wonderful company/ dev doesn't like to delete data. Captures crash logs. The crash logs are not just the game. It can have all email and other details linked in the very tiny file that transfers. So install on phones where you don't have personal emails. Your data will be sold or spammed worse case phished. So as long as you know this is going forward. (edited)

They can really grab data from other apps as part of crash logging?

Antimine is free and is better than this. Like most Minesweeper games, this one creates boards where you are forced to guess. Antimine is one of the few that only creates boards where you can always figure out the next move.

So much so that it's reduced the game to simply going around the edge clicking numbers and it solves it for you!

Since my conception i still dont know how to play this game.

Uncover squares. The numbers tell you how many squares away a mine is. Mark that square with a flag instead of uncovering it. Find all mines.
    Rinse and repeat. (edited)

Not really. I had a cheap 386 PC that played it fine.

One of the greatest video games ever made, massively underrated.

Prod screen. Uncover flags. Delete game. Pretty easy, really.

Got excited, went to download, already got it, didn't bother opening it. And so the cycle repeats.

I was just about to post the exact same it seems my play account is just as bad as my epic games library - not a clue what I already own as I never play them

Oh the memories of being in library to do coursework instead sweeping for mines.

I'd also love to see recordings of the games people on top of the leaderboard played. Either there are hidden scoring opportunities I don't see or... ?!?

very addictive game, but it's good for stress release (edited)

A good game that requires a bit of thought and has that addictive just one more go feeling. Even better, no irritating ads. I also like that it can be resized and played full screen with a lot more grid squares (40x19) on my Chromebook too. (edited)
