Seems a good deal at under £300 for new a SIM-free 128GB Pixel 7. Also £349.50 for the 256GB. Available in various colours. Cashback is available at TCB, but probably not worth the hassle at £3 for handset only.

Seems like a good deal. I was tempted by a used like new from Amazone for £250. Anyone know how this compares to the Samsung A35?

Pixel 7 is a bit faster, has an extra 2GB RAM on the base model (8GB versus 6GB), and is closer to being a one-handed device (6.3 inches versus 6.6 inches), though both are still pretty heavy (197g and 209g respectively).

I would personally opt for the Pixel 7 over the Samsung A35 despite it having a 90Hz display (versus 120Hz) and a smaller battery that charges slightly slower. I think the overall experience is going to be slightly better at a lower price point. I would probably only consider the A35 if I wanted to use expandable storage.

Looks like Currys have also dropped their prices. Slightly better value with £10 Voxi (30GB) SIM and 3 month Apple TV+, Music & Arcade subscription.

Does the save £15 with code EASTER15 work with SIM free pay in full?

Looks like vouchers can't be applied to SIM-free purchases (at least this one). So, the answer is sadly "no."

Currys retail have also dropped their prices (128GB and 256GB) with the addition of two freebies - £10 Voxi SIM (30GB) and 3 months Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and Apple Fitness+.

Have been looking for for an upgrade to my Pixel 6a (which I got from the amazing deal on here just over a year ago where I basically only paid £60 for it after the trade-in bonus and selling the Fitbit watch).

Prices for the 7a and 7 seem to be dropping quickly now, presumably because the 8a is due soon.

I'd ideally like a 'too good to turn down' deal to come up. Maybe a trade-in bonus or something. Wonder whether to hang on or pull the trigger on this...

I also usually wait for a good trade-in deal and/or promotion. I did the same for the Pixel 6 and Galaxy S24.

I don't think the 7 is a big upgrade over the 6a for everyday use. The 90Hz display and extra 2GB RAM will be a slight improvement for the user experience, and the Exynos 5300 is better than the 5123 (if you ever had any problems with it).

That being said, if you want to grab it then grab it because I don't think it will get much better before new stock disappears. I don't imagine there will be any promotions for the 7 down the line; that probably won't be the case for the 8 as that's still recent and relevant.
