The Icarus Jacket is a lightweight insulated hooded jacket filled with PrimaLoft Thermoplume.

The Montane Icarus Hooded Insulated Jacket is a warm, lightweight synthetic jacket that's ideal for cold and wet mountain conditions.
Made using Recycled Barrier RS Eco 20D ripstop fabric and innovative 100% Recycled Polyester Primaloft insulation, it ensures reliable, durable protection and long-lasting warmth.

    Got one of these they’re not bad for the price. Been this price with a voucher for ages tbf but still cheaper than elsewhere, so heat from me.

    Good price, but sadly these don't fit me well. Large is too long on the arms, medium is too tight around the waist.

    I am medium in Rab, North Face etc. and got a medium in this the last time this was posted. Fits perfect for me but I agree the arms are probably an inch or too longer than they need to be. I like mine, not going to be as warm as a Rab down jacket but decent at this price and can get a bit wet without any of issues you would have with a down jacket in the rain.

    If you are in-between sizes I would recommend going up . I'm a large to XL and my other Icarus XL jacket fits perfect

    Nice jackets and great customer service, bought a medium before and it is a little tight I’m 6,4 85kg so would say size up.

    Love mine great for outdoors , wear a t shirt under it and still keep warm, quality brand.

    I'm 6ft 100kg muscular and went XL as large was too tight , would defo size up if you dnt like tight fitting clothes.

    i have this jacket, its fits my needs well without being bulky, fitting is best to go up if your inbetween, the only negative is the arms are a little on the long side, zips are okay nothing special. overall I would recommend.

    Notes:
    Not waterproof, and gets wet easily.
    Not the warmest, but fine with layers underneath.

    Recommend for:
    - Going out as looks good and provides enough warmth
    - Spring/summer hikes
    - Autumn/winter jogging jacket/sport jacket
    - General day to day jacket for short walks etc

    Tight fit on this jacket. I'm in between M and L and the L I've got fits me like a M. Hope that clears things up

    Got mine today, impressed with the delivery speed as only ordered last night at 6!! Compared to my feather down Montane it's very thin but does seem to offer a decent amount of heat retention...seems to fit same as.my other M Montane jacket. Can't comment on water resistance but will be waterproof spraying it anyway so can use out and about in the 2.english seasons; rain and rain with odd bit of sun.

    All in all a bargain at this price IMO
