The 3DS might just be the greatest console ever made. On a single console you can play Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, Ocarina of Time, A link to the Past, Fire Emblem Awakening/Fates, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Monster Hunter 4.

Great price on Zelda OoT considering the supply shortage and consequent silly high prices at release.

You forgot to mention Ocarina of Time is a pre order. Comes out next month

They're all pre-orders. They are the new 3DS Selects range scheduled for release on 25th June.

It's in short supply because of OoTHax. This version will be as well if it isn't patched.

Remember what happened last time. Expect them to go a lot cheaper with retailers battling it out so a pre-order at this stage is a bit meh.

Didn't realise Mario Dream Team was coming out on selects. That explains all the cheap prices for the original version earlier this year, there were deals on here for £10 and not much more. Its not a bad game.

Is not as good as it sounds though? I mean how does a game like Duke Nukem play on a 3DS control wise. I just can't imagine playing that with any level of precise control like you could with a mouse/keyboard. And there is no multiplayer generally speaking with homebrew games?

It's a Selects' edition so it will be kept in print because that's the whole reason of a budget release.

That's not what most people use it for so it's best not to pretend really.

You can't pirate with Userland access, and although I haven't tried, apparently it's hit or miss whether you can get a downgrade through and most certainly requires a hardmod in which case why the heck would you upgrade to 11 on SysNand :p.

Would be quite costly to host a session server to support match making on top of being shutdown by Nintendo once it get's too popular. However Colors! is a good example of homebrew (was available in beta as a DS app) turned commercial (now on eShop for 3DS and other handheld things).

OoTHax probably now provides the most common downgrade method since cubic ninja is so expensive.

OoTHax + 10.7 = downgrade and CFW with a possibility for arm9loaderhax with FBI (for installing CIAs) and custom themes with homebrew.
