30kg weight limit so more for positioning than much actual support.

True enough, these aren't acrow props but 30kg for these is pretty standard. I've only seen a few that are rated to 40kg
(for anyone unsure, these are NOT for supporting walls!) (edited)

Grab a couple and they are great for helping put plasterboard up on ceilings

Indeed. I brought two of them and used them for plasterboard on ceilings and walls, holding skirting against walls when foam glue was setting, stabilising bathroom wall panels whilst adhesive sets, holding up scenery, soundproofing and green screen backgrounds, laser level positioning, etc etc (edited)

Wonder if these can be used for pole dancing

    Yes.

I bought two of these a few years ago and they are great for installing plaster boards to cieling. Really robust and easy to use.

    This one is particularly bizarre/specific!
    (but a great price)

Roughly half the price of most equivalent options!

Anyone know what LIDL do with their middle isle unsold stock?

Would love to have a pair of these in my DIY arsenal but don't have an immediate need for them - don't want to spend £30 now for use at an unknown time in the future but if they were to go half-price, then would be worth doing.

Anyone know what LIDL do with their middle isle unsold stock - don't think I've ever seen them put their un-sold middle isle stuff on clearance.

They will faster sell this kind of stuff, before it could be reduced.

Thanks for reminding. Managed to grab what seems the last one in local lidl.
