What about richer sounds price match ?

Do their T&C's only allow price match if cheaper elsewhere including a 6 yr warranty ?

They probably won't match price after voucher code

According to the guarantee, I think they price match voucher codes.

However, that product is only on pre-order at Richer Sounds. It may need to be in stock??

They do match after voucher code. But I don’t think they’ll match this because the warranty needs to be the same amount of years that richer sounds offer (6 years)

Very unlikely they will price match as the warranty is different. I bumped into this issue when purchasing another Philips TV when trying to price match. Worth a shot though
I'm trying to find a decent oled under 1k. But having seen reviews of this on amazon there is a lot of negativity, especially regarding software. Anyone got any experience with it

seems an awesome picture with ambilight and decent sound. The software is Philips own, it doesn't run on android but I will use a firestick anyway.

I've ordered one at this price this morning.
I think the 854 is android but 754 is Philips own, can anyone confirm?

754 is definitely philips own
I am after an OLED as a 2nd TV (I have a Q90R as my main TV). I Had a 7304 for a couple of weeks which was awful but the Philips OLEDs get pretty good reviews. The ambilight was pretty good. If I am right hasn't the 754 got a 2018 OLED panel. I know it has the Saphi OS which isn't great but functional

Does anyone have experience of Ambilight in the corner of a room? I imagine not as good as against a flat wall, but is it still worth having?

I did and it isn't good at all. Needs to be no more that 20-30cm from a wall all the way round to work properly.
Might not have great software as the others have mentioned but a great price for OLED.

LG panels, quality wise they on par with LG b and c series.

I would onloy put this on a flat wall, think it would look strange on a corner as only the sides would light up properly.
Thanks, plasma died last night so ordered.

I know the panel is made by LG, as are all OLEDs however I understand the panel used in this Philips model is from 2018 to save money. The 2019 panels I believe are better for image retention and burn in etc.

I was mulling over the Philips 754 and the LG B9. I went with the B9 after seeing Costco's now-expired deal for £950.

I already have an Ambilight Philips LCD TV and the software is quite slow. The TV would also often lose its Wi Fi connection for no apparent reason.

Unfortunately, the Ambilight also died on me barely a year after purchase (only the right-hand side of the TV's Ambilight function turns on now). The Ambilight was fantastic while it lasted, however.

Of course the 754 is a newer, different model than the one I own - but I would caution going for the Philips OLED unless you're getting a 5-year guarantee to go with it.

why was the 7304 awful? I have a 7383 and no complaints.

Very dull image, android 9 implementation on the Philips was poor and seemed like there was almost a daily firmware update that would fix something and make something else worse like sound, app response etc. It was not a 4K HDR TV at all and the upscaling was awful. I think peak brightness is about 200-300 nits which can't really show HDR at all. The ambilight was a nice feature though. I also believe the Philips LED LCDs use the 1st generation P5: processor. I sent it back after a less than 2 weeks. Ended up spending, a bit more and got a Samsung Q90R and I couldn't be happier. Lovely bright super crisp image with excellent OS, app support and sound. I would consider a Philips OLED and for the price this seems great but a 2 year guarantee bothers me.

Yes you're right, this year's models have 2019 panels
I would pass on this one. This one's with older oled panel and the software isn't good at all.
The only exciting this is the ambient light but even then I wouldn't get it.
Spend a bit more and go for the B9 or c9

The B9 is running out of stock and the C9 already has anywhere decent. The bx and CX are reasonably priced and will only be a few hundred pounds more than this come black Friday. I fancied a gz950 but the same problem there as sold everywhere.

Depends where you bought it form. You can ask them price match within 7 days I think. Few stores do that.
They're only HDMI 2.0 so it's a hard no from me
