sorted byTo get them working properly on a tv you need the special HDMI box which costs a fair bit but if you watch movies and tv through your PC or laptop then these work far better.
I’ve got them around the desk (top of monitor and one either side) with a light strip running around the edges of the desk for lighting below.

I'm currently using 2 hue blooms (each bottom corner of tv) and a single hue colour bulb (top middle) to create the same thing these 3 would produce. Tempted to upgrade to these as an all in one solution. (edited)

One thing that's worth noting, depending on your intended use, is that there's only a single power supply which all the lights plug into. This is fine if you want them all behind your TV, but if you thought you could have two in one room and one in another - no dice without an additional PSU.
