Miui is advertising paradise, no other phone manufacturer does it better. If you want a portable digital billboard in your pocket it's definitely the way to go.

I had a poco f2 pro until January this year. It was great in every way except the cameras. Was able to do a hardware mod and swapped the cameras with a set from redmj k30 pro zoom edition which cost 20 quid and it made the cameras way better. Also had an issue with the pmic controller, xiaomi designed it very poorly as it wouldn't handle over 20w charging over prolonged periods of time and would crap out. The only way to fix it is to replace the motherboard. Thankfully I had warranty and was able to get it repaired. Definitely worth the 299 I spent on it brand new at the time. Wouldn't buy one ever again though when you can get a pixel device for so cheap these days. I don't think these phones should be had with the amount of alternatives we have nowadays. No amount of mods will make it as good as the alternatives. All the roms I tested were imperfect. Just get a different phone.

I personally spend way too much time on my phone so to be honest if I'm using it for several hours everyday then it's worth saving for a nicer one. Bought an s23 ultra on release 512gb for £890. Way better than my old poco even though I do miss some parts of it. Namely the pop up camera, super ergonomic design and the headphone jack. Pros and cons to everything I suppose

I had a Poco F2 pro, felt cheap was cheap, won't have another Xiaomi compared to my older Huawei p20 pro it felt like a budget phone to a premium phone .....even my now oppo find X2 pro feels much more quality (edited)
