sorted byI've several brands of these and never appear to be able to get over 1.5A even on a 65W charger which works at full speed using the relevant protocol with a dedicated cable on supported devices.
Also, you'll lose data connectivity for Android Auto/ Apple Carplay if you use this for the connection (again, all the cables of this type I have appear to be power-only).
Would be useful to see if others have had different experiences on charging current and data.
And android auto works with it, I was very surprised.
Someone stole the cable tho :(.
Lease is renewed next month so meh
