I got the 5800 new and it is a silent machine, 2 x NVME and just works.

No, it isn't absolute cutting edge but it isn't £1500 or £2500 either.

Bang for buck, I say decent.

Also watch for the new Lenovo Legion T5 AMD Ryzen 7 5800 16GB RAM 512GB SSD RX 6800XT Graphics Gaming Desktop PC90RC00N3UK to come back in stock. Just bought one of these too.

Yeah I'd whip that out and stick a 5800X or 5800X3D in its place. Probably a 5800X because it's a lot cheaper and still performs very well in games and better than a 5700G er otherwise there would be no point of course

Actually I don't think the 5800X is enough difference, the 5800X3D would make more difference depending on games. Changed my mind really the 5700G is good enough. Check 5800X3D as a suitable upgrade but it must make a significant difference in the games you want to play. (edited)

Considering its refurb, not brilliant, not terrible. For comparison, the same/equal parts new are about 10% more.

    It’s a decent deal.
i bought one of these about a year and a half ago for £1344 from Lenovo’s epp/student site.
About a week and a half ago, ccl were selling it for £999.
another £120 off for refurbished is ok.
