I don't know much about these things to be honest but have been looking for such a combi set for a long time and this is one of the best value sets that I could find and just ordered one (5 monthly payments also available). Hope it helps someone.

I note that you have deleted the link that you put here earlier and so here it is (in case it helps the others choose):

    its.co.uk/pd/…htm

So thanks for that. A quick search reveals that the Ryobi is a much better set (reviews on Amazon of both sets also suggest that the Ryobi is much better):

    uk.bestreviews.guide/dri…mbo

Can you please possibly explain why you think the Dewalt is a better set and is the seller you pointed to any good and trustworthy?

Just do a quick search between brushed vs brushless (more efficient and will probably last longer)
Also the batteries won’t last as long (because they are smaller and they are brushed tools)

    It’s personal preference
If you like the tools then they will obviously do the job.

Have a look at ITS reviews

I have ordered before and had no issues (edited)

Not sure it's a great deal. Amazon often have the combi drill, 2 batteries and a charger for £80. Would think an extra £80 for a bag and an impact driver is on the high side. If you need something now then I guess it's okay. But before Christmas I bought the same kit plus a circular saw for £140 from a B and Q deal on here. On top of that I claimed a free gift from Ryobi in their 12 days of Christmas offer (in my case a fast charger which seem to be about £50). No I don't have access to time travel but I am sure if people are not in need there will be far better offers in future

It’s a different impact gun model the one show has LED work light and is 220Nm vs 200Nm

the drill is also a better model in this bundle.

I would have loved to find the impact driver and the battery and charger for anywhere near £80 as this is the main tool I am after now. Buying these items separately WITHOUT the drill costs more than this whole kit now. Although I sincerely hope that you are right, I also think that your assertion of better offers in the future when inflation is the highest in 40 years and still going up is a bit of wishful thinking to be honest with you.

Thanks again. I did actually look into that when I was searching and came to realise that this brushless business is super hyped as you can actually get some brushless tools for much cheaper than some of the reputable brushed ones but they are utterly useless. I decided to finally go by real users' review rather than just by marketing hype. (edited)

Good find but unavailable anywhere near me and also appears to be an inferior model with a lesser torque than the one in the posted deal. Are you sure this is the same model? (edited)

I'm with some of he other reviews here.
There are better Dewalt sets (my personal brand of choice) with better batteries for much the same of only slightly more.

For that reason not voting hot. But equally not voting cold because these are decent models. The battereis do let this package down though. (edited)

Think I'd go with this instead if I couldn't get the cheap B&Q impact driver:

    Ryobi R18PD3-215GZ 18 V ONE+ Cordless Combi Drill Starter Kit (2 x 1.5 Ah) smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/…GH3

Ryobi ONE+ HP 18V Cordless Compact Brushless 1/4" Impact Driver PSBID01 (TOOL ONLY- Battery and Charger NOT included) smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/…TBC

Yes the impact driver is a US model but its the HP and saves you £30 over this package (assuming you don't value the bag)
