sorted byI was thinking to go for this deal with upgrade ASUS PRIME B550M-K as I have 2 M.2 drives at home already. (I have removed them from this offer to save 30£)
I'm undecided if to upgrade the PSU with the promo PSU - 700W to GIGABYTE 750W 80+ GOLD : +£40.00 so that I get the gold one but I know barely nothing about PSU so not sure if it's worth it in the long run.
Planning to use this mainly for gaming.
What do you think?
appreciate your input!
Higher Quality PSU that exceeds this GPU base.
Boosting laters into Higher GPU's
Further longivity when pushed.
Vs lower cost, enough psu for this spec, no frills and matchs the spec of multiable other prebuilt at more cost.
it will really come down to future planning pal, not something me or others can say, we can give extremely more postives in other words on the upgrade one, but the final factor on "usefullness to value base" will depend on u. (edited)
+50 booster 12400F/B660 Wifi
on this link. (edited)
The velocity deal is £100.00 more.
A520 Tuf -> B550M
500GB - > 1TB
Cit Flash -> 1st player case
3060 -> 3060Ti
£40 / £15 / £10 / £40 = £105....
something like that.
now in respect u have done -40 on the gpu, and then +40 on the 5700X
What if we take this 5600X/A520 into 5700X/B550
£590 link.
+40 board
+40 cpu
+15 gpu
+10(case change)
So u have the same deal, but ur friend could of cut back in certain ways, in part basis.
in value basis
and then ur friend might of topped up to the TX550 which is an additional cost on that line.
You are right afew touch, but i feel ur friend has the upper one, more suited n booted for the 5700X, u have the mesh case, B550 board, so thats a much more 5700X, not saying a A520 cant handle 5700X it can and that is why im seperated the cpu in the promo section on my suggestion but the b550 is a much better pairing. (edited)
Here is metor:
On the 3060 Deal we speak on:
If You were to add in the B550 / 1Tb in the promo section . You can get a 3060Ti for £45.
VS
If you were to add in the RTX3060Ti on site, u get a B550M and 1Tb for £10
Thats the metor which matters is what u were interested in.
so if were boosting a couple of things chaps, have a look the velocity (edited)
Hackintosh builds with amd in particular
AMD RYZEN 7 5800X + £65
ASUS PRIME B550M-K + £40
CORSAIR 32GB 3600MHZ +£55
GIGABYTE 750W 80+ GOLD +£40
BE QUIET! Pure Rock - Ultra Quiet Option - (AIR) + £40

GeForce RTX 3060 12GB
Max Out All Case Fans For 12CM - Blue + £25
-£40 voucher
Total: £845
They have upped the price on some bits, CORSAIR 32GB 3600MHZ upgrade was £40 (vs £55) back in April, B550M-K was £35 (vs £40)
The £40 Voucher isnt applicable for this deal. = £885
thats for the 5600G systems.
Yeah MB has gone up.
Thats a good system for the price.
The alt as u prob seen:
AMD Velocity
+65 for the 5800X
+40 750W gold
+40 Bequiet
+25 max fans
+55 ram.
= 915 (30 more for the TI)
Either way:
management: Very workable.
#BEQUIET COOLER: 50/50
#EXTRA FANS - YES
#PSU - 50/50
#HIGHER GRADE NVME YES.
#RAM YES
#MB: NO
#CPU: NO
either urs or my way (ti) ur system: buy base unit only, if u fancy their management package, u have some items worth pitching over,
- so alt way for a 585/590 deal.
Price: 570.00
# price 585 for the TX550W
1) Upgrade PSU Cit 700W at +25 or TX550 GOLD Corsair +40
2) Add in RTX 3060 in Graphic options.

1TB nvmes at +£30 (promo)
-20 less to go for a G with onboard. +Better case, and having the option for the TX550 at 15 more. (edited)
Good deal. Thanks
One thing I will commend them on is when I discussed a system and upgrades they told me to choose a different base system and then upgrade that. I got a better setup for £200 less that what I had proposed. Look at their site and look at upgrades. Some systems have discounted upgrade offers to save even more.
PS: it doesnt work on this deal, u mean the 5600G vega system. (edited)
im just catching up on some easy QS ones atm. (edited)
# if ur thinking of boosting past a 3060Ti laters, another £25 for the 750W Gigabyte is where id go also.

awd-it.co.uk/gam…tml
Change cpu to 5600 storage to 1tb psu to 700w = 620 use code bburger makes it £614
where ever a self builder can go, i can go with it too :P
its about shopping about in all case.
This is a good deal for an entry level gaming PC! A few minor upgrades and you'll have a very steady machine. Minor negative is lack of future upgrade potential i.e. you'd need to get a new motherboard to move to a newer CPU (AMD5 socket) and DDR5 RAM.
I had to go yesterday to his house because I tried to mount the WiFi card but was having black screen. He didn't put back the GPU correctly (edited)
