Thought this wasn't a bad price. I've been waiting for it to drop for ages and decided I couldn't wait any longer. Use eBay discount code: MORESAVINGS to get this price. AMD Ryze… Read more

Tbh this isn’t a terrible price for this CPU, but it’s not great. It has generally been around the £240 mark (and has been cheaper) and I think at this point, unless you’re desperate, I’d just wait for it to come down in price.

Yeh it should be. The pricing is crazy. This is the cheapest I've seen it. I understand the cold votes are coming from people who know this is still overpriced( including myself) but it's strange how the 5600g deal got 212 degrees heat when its priced at £233.76. I thought this was the better cpu.

I paid less than this 8 months ago. Surely they should be less than this by now?

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Cpu /Processor I ain't got a lot of time atm but I thought I'd share this bargain I discovered on Amazon and it is a absolute bargain Enjoy! ;)

Yeh that was the only option... 3rd party seller and delivery not till Jan 3rd, it was still a good deal though! " purchased mine from Ali Express over a month ago for £215 only took two weeks to get here, . so didn't need another, was just checking out the prices to see if I could of got a better deal if I waited.

I saw it but looked to be a bespoke seller with delivery in Jan? Or was I already late to the party and that was the only option?

There was only 13 left when I found it... the deal went within seconds after I posted on here.

Can't see that price?

Costco have an AWD-IT Ryzen 5600X and 6700 XT deal that isn’t bad at all considering the shortages. Price valid from 22/11/2021 to 29/11/2021. While stock lastsSave another £1… Read more

Thank you for the reassurance. I have only bought a tall freezer from Costco online before and the service was super quick (y)

She just mentioned about the delivery. I don't think you have anything to worry about in terms of them honouring price and spec, I very much doubt they would change any parts or try to charge you more.

Spoke to them on web chat and they said it's definitely coming but they are having delays. That said, I checked my bank account and the charge that was previously pending has now disappeared so I don't know what's going on.

Thanks for the update, was just going to call them. Did they say that if you have an order confirmation email, that you will get your ordered PC?

Yep just quickly spoke to someone and they said the online side of things doesn't always update the status. I ordered on the 24th so I'm on my 3rd business day and I'll get some contact within the next couple of days regarding delivery apparently. Shouldn't be anything to worry about guys!

Looks OK I suppose but personally, I wouldn't buy a bundle as you're not really saving any money. The cheapest 5800X on Amazon is £340 from a third party seller. Amazon themselves sold it for £310 a few days ago. Amazon were selling the MSI X570 Gaming Edge WiFi for £102 a few days ago. They still have a couple in Used Like New condition for £100.

Wow what a surprise, more expensive motherboard is better (horror) , WHO WOULD'VE KNOWN!!! Question is why would you spend £300 on a sub £250 CPU when you could spend £100-£140 on a b550, get virtually the same performance, and you can put the ~£180 you saved towards a better CPU this generation or a better one next gen. Even a 5900x will perform flawlessly with most b550 boards, there are many with WiFi-6 if that's your main selling point, and they won't cost you a kidney. This "deal" is just plain stupid. If you're buying a 5600X and spending £300 for a barely better motherboard that won't help boost your performance for "longevity", just stop. The AM4 socket is basically done at this point, next gen is confirmed to use AM5, so all that money you spent on longevity and accessibility to upgrades (which is again barely better than the B550) goes to waste. It's like ricing a car: a big f (mad) ing waste of money

How about this bundle? AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Eight Core 4.7GHz, MSI B550M Bazooka Motherboard CPU Bundle for £439.99

Best motherboard I have ever used! Used with the 5600x then upgraded to 5950x! Absolute beast!

This isn't strictly true, I bought this mobo with a 5800x and they work together like a dream. It's just dependant on what features different people need. I always find it easier to look at mobos around the price of your CPU as a general rule of thumb but that's just me.

Thanks very much for the deal @sarden84 it was a great deal, it's very nicely put together and lovely and quiet too.

:o I'd be in even more trouble if I did, nothing wrong with your 3070ti, fantastic value (by today's standards) Looks like the XT will have to go

6700XT without a doubt. If you got the 3080 at RRP selling the 6700 should pay for that and you will be left with a great set up at a reasonable price. I wish I hadn’t rushed and panicked and got the 3080 instead of the 3070ti!!! Otherwise you could swap your 3080 for my 3070ti 🙏

Followed Sarden's advice to the T, got the original Corsair 6700XT setup with intention to flip later for the 3060ti FE ...but ended up overshooting for the 3080 FE yesterday🤦🏻🤫 :/ Question is, which should I sell (if any) to subsidise the build?

Ah really? No SLI?? That's rubbish. Yeah tbh a 3080 is probably overkill for me but for the little extra, had I realised I might have chosen differently.

3080 FE. Wow . Great pc mate

That works. 6700XT is a very capable card, only thing I think I'd miss is DLSS, but should perform slightly better out of the box than the 3060TI, so no real reason to upgrade unless you're looking for high FPS 4k gaming R5 5600x and RTX 3080 FE. Paired with 32GB Crucial Ballistix 3600mhz CL16 memory. Purely a gaming rig, but smashes everything I ask it to do

What the specs out of interest

No, i already have a PC, was just giving my advice based on my experience

base model is 6600xt starting from £949.99 and the base model for the 3060 starts at £999.99 the 6600xt can be boosted to a 6700xt for £99 more. obvious in each u then correct the PSU / RAM / Storage to as one likes. but the other difference is the following: on the 6600/6700xt u have the airflow D at +14.95 but u got the lancool 215 at 19.95 on the 3060 performance on cards is 3060 -> 6600xt -> 6700xt (typical nvidia +ryzen price theme atm) (/ryzen is giving kickbacks on amd cards with ryzens u see on top..) 6600xt/6700xt one comes with an amd rgb cooler and u got the apro atx board over the matx lower vrm vdh board the amd cards are dual vs 1fan stormx 3060
